Beignets

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2014
They aren't to sweet, so my family really liked it. However, next time I'd add some cinnamon or something, the doughnuts were too plain for me.

Carrot Recipe

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2014
Time's unrealistic, I thought she put her mixture at high on the stove, turned out it was like about 40 to 50 minutes. Add only cardamom and make sure your carrots are mashed when done cooking. Keep moving so they're cooked evenly.

Scrambled Eggs and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2014
The eggs were great as was the dish. One thing I'd change is don't use more than a few tbsp. of soy sauce, it has a strong taste and when you say dash people sometimes add more than just a few tbsp. that's required.

Besan Ladoo

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2014
The Ladoo's were great. But here is the few things I'd change. First, you have to roast the flour for 15-20 minutes, 10 minutes won't do good. To check whether the flour is ready do this, after the first five minutes smell the flour, and then keep doing that ever 5 minute interval. The smell should be nutty, kind of almondish. Finally, give this enough time to cool. Ghee cools down really well and you can get a good consistency, but it has to cool. Let it sit in the fridge for five to six minutes. once you see you have the right consistency (kind of like butter at room temp). You should be able to shape the batter in your hands. If you want to cool the batter outside fridge, give it about half an hour or so, to achieve the consistency. I've never made ladoos before and the timing thing was really bad and the reason that I gave the recipe for

Kheer (Rice Pudding)

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2014
So, I tried this recipe, mind you I have grown up eating kheer. A few things, I saw some of you mentioned about cooking time, what I did different was put this on high heat instead of low. It was done in a reasonable time. My problem didn't have enough milk in the house. Anyway, I added toasted coconut shavings (did them on stove top before making the kheer) and nutmeg powder as one of the reviewers recommended. Also I have a horrible sweet tooth, so I added a little more than 1/4 cup of sugar to this recipe. you don't really need coconut milk, made this with whole milk brought at gas station.
