Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2009
Few modifications (I don't like really spicy): Omitted cumin, halved the cayenne, no jalpenos. Added one can of "Mexicorn" (corn with red peppers, onions and black beans). Only used 2 cans of Great Northern beans instead of 3. Served with sour cream and cheese with tortilla chips crumbled on top, and it was delicious! A real keeper that I will definitely make again.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Outstanding! Only thing I changed was to add 1 tsp. of vanilla extract and 3/4 cup chopped walnuts to the batter. This recipe is a keeper!!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
Great cookies with a nice amount of spice. As per recommendations, I used orange juice instead of water. I also used a small ice cream scoop to shape them- scooped up the amount I wanted, dropped it into the sugar and rolled- very little hassle or mess, and I didn't refrigerate the dough. This recipe is a keeper.

Double Fudge Kahlua Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
Outstanding. I also only used 1.5 cups of powdered sugar instead of 2 cups and thought that the frosting consistency was excellent.

I added just a little bit of garlic powder to the mix, but otherwise kept it the same, and it was great! I will definitely use this again. Thanks for sharing.

Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
Very good recipe. I followed other suggestions and added minced onion, basil, oregano and parsley. I used frozen spinach, and also added a frozen cauliflower/zucchini/lima bean mixture. Served it with The Italian Bread for Bread Machines recipe on this website and it was great! Thanks for sharing.

London Broil II

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2010
Amazing! The only change I made was to add a couple of shakes of Worchestershire sauce to the marinade. Marinated it for ~6 hours, and grilled it to medium. It was extremely juicy and the flavor was outstanding! This is a real keeper!

Cake Balls

Great taste and lots of fun! I agree with the previous reviewers who suggest refrigerating for several hours- it made them much easier to dip.

Southern Turnip Supreme

Subbed pepperjack for cheddar, and used chicken bullion instead of veggie (didn't have veggie on hand). This was my first time trying turnips and both my husband and I loved it! We'll definitely make this again.

Cheesy Potato and Corn Chowder

The only change I made was to use about 1/2 of the chiles recommended (don't like that much spiciness). Turned out great!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2009
This is the best apple pie my husband and I have ever had! I added cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves to the syrup. I also only needed 5 apples- I think the ones I bought must have been too large because I ran out of room in my pie plate! This is definitely going into my permanent recipe box, and will be used for years to come. Thank you for sharing with us!

I'm currently doing the slim fast diet and this was a welcome 200 calorie lunch in place of a shake. Light but filling, good flavor. This will become a regular for me. Thanks for sharing!
