Beer Batter Fish Made Great

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2014
I deep fried cod with this recipe. I did change one small thing. That's two tablespoon of garlic. I used one tablespoon. I figured it would ruin the flavor of the cod with too much garlic powder. It was "okay". Nothing exciting

Grandma's Egg Custard Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2014
I highly recommend this recipe for egg custard. I did not use pie crust, just put in ramecans and gave a water bath in oven. Very very good. My husband loved it. Thanks for the recipe. Oh, one more thing, first time I scaled the milk, but, theres a video on this now and it said you don't need to scald the milk I am going to try it today.

I have made this twice I did not change anything before I rated it. For me, I just need to practice on better looking rolls. But this second time looked better than the first. Love them!

Perfect Baked Potato

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2014
I buy large bake potatoes. I wash the potatoes dry them well. Then I rub olive oil all around. I then add some spices like garlic powder, then garlic salt, onion powder kosher salt and black pepper. Once in a while I'll add powder cayenne pepper. Sometimes seasoned salt. Whatever! Oh. Before I do the olive oil I forgot to mention I do poke holes around potatoes. I then put them on shallow baking pan. Put in oven at 400 degrees for two hours! I live in the sierras at high elevation Everyone loves them. Not burnt at all. Skin is wonderful. Everyone eats the skin. Good luck on your adventures to bake a potatoe

A Very Popular BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
Hi folks! I made this sauce tonight for dinner when I realized I was out of barbecue sauce in the pantry. Lucky me! This sauce is wonderful. I made pull pork sandwiches. My husband loved it. I did do something different though. After reading over the reviews, I decided to cook the sauce. I did not use a blender. I did use a wire whisk. After getting a soft boil, I then simmered for about 15 minutes. I think next time I'll tweak it to my taste. I might try crushed pineapple. But please try this recipie. I loved it!
