Cornflake Clusters
I love no bakes and I love cereal, but these were just disappointing. They're way too sweet and soggy, not chewy. All it is, is corn syrup glazed corn flakes with some nuts and coconut thrown in. I'll stick with other no bake and granola recipes that taste like something more than ultra sugary coated cereal...and that's coming from somebody with a major sweets and sugar addiction!

Heavenly Halibut
I was really disappointed with this recipe, especially with how many glowing reviews it got. For me, the flavor just wasn't great. I thought I'd give it a shot but after making it, I'll never try another recipe for fish that calls for mayo or miracle whip, it ruins a wonderful piece of fish like halibut or salmon. Thanks for the recipe, but having grown up with good Alaskan seafood, I'll stick with my dad's method.

Cherry Oatmeal Cookies
After reading other reviews I decided to make some changes of my own. I cut the shortening to 1/4 cup and added 1/4 cup cinnamon applesauce. I cut the vanilla in half and substituted almond extract. I also used 1-1/2 Tbsp cherry juice and pecans instead of walnuts. After I had everything mixed I added a little extra flour to make up for the added wet ingredients. Baked per recipe and I must say they turned out very moist and very yummy!
