African Peanut Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2011
I thought it was really good but a bit bland. I halved the recipe and at the end added 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp chipolte hot sauce and some chopped cilantro and that made it spectacular!! For lunch tomorrow I think I will also add some leftover chicken breast to make a real a full meal

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

I have probably made this 20 times by now, actually I just popped it in the oven and realized I never reviewed it. We LOVE this recipe. I use jumbo thighs and bake in the oven at 375 for 1 hour and 15 minutes, then a quick shot under the broiler to crisp up the skin. Serve over white rice, it is falling off the bone and oh so yummy

Grandpa's Classic Coney Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2009
Oh my so delicious! I live in Northern NJ and we have what we just call "sauce" so you order a hot dog with sauce and I have always wanted to duplicate it and this is it. I made it ahead on a Sunday to have with hogs as a quick dinner on a work night. I kept "tasting"it, it was so yummy we are lucky we have it left for dinner

I made this when my sister in laws were visiting and oh what a hit. It was great when having guests because you just cook in the oven and serve, what a crowd pleaser

Too Much Chocolate Cake

This cake is delish, I topped it wth satiny chocolate glaze like a lot of people suggested and that was perfect. The best part is it is not to sweet

OMG so good!! I made this with fresh in season NJ blueberries. Followed recipe exactly and it was perfect. Served it about 5 hours after coming out of oven and was not runny at all. The best with vanilla ice cream

Sweet and Sour Kielbasa

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2008
Made this the other night for dinner and my 17 month old gobbled it up and my husband said "I like this better than any other way you made kielbasa before" I did use only 1 cup ketchup as others suggested, and put it over egg noodles. I will definately make it again soon

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2005
I made this last night. It was AWESOME!!! I did add some garlic powder, salt and dry chipolte seasoning to give it even more flavor. Used real (you know the $15 a lb stuff) parmesan for real strong flavor. Will definately make it again.

Sunshine Toast

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2004
LOVE this recipe. Used to have these as a kid, mom called them "egg in a nest". You must fry up the hole of bread in butter also and eat with the rest. Also great if you crumble up bacon or sausage and est with too.
