In 2007 I found out that I am lactose intollerant so I have been forced to adjust all of my cooking to be dairy-free, it can be a challenge but it is still always delicious. I typically use a recipe as a guide only. My measuring and ingredients are not usually exact, I really dislike following things to a T.

My friends consider me a creme de menthe bar expert. I love making beautiful pies. Because of allrecipes, I have finally figured out how to make the specialty breads that are expensive in the store (French, Focaccia, Ciabatta) this has saved me a lot of money and impressed my friends and family!

The classic pork chop tragedy and many dinners have turned into take-out...I am definitely more of a baker than a cook.
