Penne with Garlicky Broccolini

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
I added grape tomatoes, used steamed broccoli, added some red pepper flakes and black olives. We heart bacon, so I used about 9 slices. Added a little EVOO to make it a little less dry. I added the tomatoes to the garlic & oil before adding it to pasta and the sweetness really came out and it was great with the garlic and olives.

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
I used the rotissaire chicken, added carrots, dumpling style egg noodles and did not add salt as I couldnt find low sodium broth in the large cans. I did add the whole chicken to the broth with the veggies to let it get some more flavor. It turned out great!

quick, easy and delicious. I also toast the bread for a few mins before adding the toppings to prevent it from getting soggy.

I didn't have the curry on hand, so used garlic powder. It was still really good and I will definitely make again!

Creamed Chipped Beef On Toast

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2006
I couldn't find the beef in the jar, so I used beef lunch meat. A quick and easy dinner, good on bakery bread. Cayenne adds a nice zip. Not my favorite but my boyfriend loves it.

Buttery Cooked Carrots

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2005
Very easy and good. I, like many previous posters, had too much water the first time I tried, but they were still good. I cooked the carrots for approx. 15 mins, just check tenderness with fork. Thanks for the recipe.

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2005
Wow, I couldn't believe a sloppy joe could be so good! This was so simple and easy and had so much flavor. The garlic powder and brown sugar create an amazing flavor. I too will never buy manwich again. Thank you so much for this recipe!

These were very easy to make, however I found them to be a little dry. Maybe I did something wrong?? I was expecting a more based on the previous reviews. Good, but not "to die for". Thanks for the recipe.

This is a great change in the weekly lunch routine. Very chunky and crunchy. I skipped the almonds as my boyfriend is allergic, & used the rotisserie chicken. He loves it! Thanks for the great recipe.

This was my first time making soup and it was soooo good! The flavor in this soup is amazing, I used chives instead of green onions & soy milk instead of regular. Very good. Thanks for the great recipe.

Oregon Salmon Patties

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2005
I made these last night and they were really good. Did not use all of the salmon juice as suggested by previous reviewers & skipped the parsley. I also combined all the crackers instead of coating them. Had a little more flare than my Mom's salmon patties. Easy, quick and good-will def make these again! Thanks for the recipe!
