Green Beans with Bread Crumbs

As others have warned, the breadcrumbs did not hold up very well, but the parmesan cheese compensated nicely. I served buffet style on a big platter alongside a roasted pork loin and caramelized shallots. They were especially good the next day as leftovers. Next time I will mix with everything but the breadcrumbs. I will add the breadcrumbs only as a garnish.

Mixed Greens with Walnut and Roasted Onion Dressing

I served this salad and dressing at a recent dinner party. Seems to have gone over well. No one raved but there were several second-helpers. I prefer to caramelize onions in a saute' pan, however, I followed the recipe exactly and used the oven. Very nice dressing overall. How can you lose with chicken stock and onions and olive oil?
