About this Cook
In the beginning I was never much of a cook, but I like trying new things and have been experimenting over the years, and can say that I have improved a great deal, and with the help of this site, have so many recipes I have added to my own, that people love. I work for a software company. I am a mother and enjoy spending time with my 2 kids and husband. I love the outdoors and warm weather.
My favorite things to cook
Impressed Myself Chicken, Fried Rice, Enchiladas, Spaghetti...
My favorite family cooking traditions
Don't really have any
My cooking triumphs
I can't even get hamburger helper right... I seem to do better with recipes I can play with a little. I have really accomplished making a few things I can call really good over the years.
My cooking tragedies
Like I said, bad with most box items... it's really a very sad thing.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce
It was just missing something and I can't exactly put my finger on it. I am sure if I read a bunch of the other reviews I may figure it out.

Italian Breaded Pork Chops
husband and kids loved it. I've never been a big fan of pork chops, but these weren't as dry as most I have had and the coating was tasty

Shrimp Fried Rice II
This it alot like what I make on a regular basis. I use Olive oil instead of Sesame, and I use baby chick peas rather then bean sprouts. I leave out the chives and I add in fresh chopped garlic. sometimes I add in sliced carrots and green bell pepper. Over all it's a good base line.
