Peppermint Patties

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
Excellent!! I used a mix of dark & milk chocolate chips w/ a little shortening instead because I'm not a fan of chocolate candy coating. I also added more peppermint - I like them strong! I experimented which turned out awesome: after I made the batch, I halved it. In one of the halves, I added a 1/4 cup dark chocolate baking cocoa, a tsp. more peppermint, and a splash of milk to get the right consistency. These double-chocolate patties turned out fantastic!! I was pretty unsuccessful at the dipping so I ended up just slavering each side with the melted chocolate. I used my finger to make swirl patterns. Turned out quite pretty!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2011
Excellent recipe! I made a few modifications based on the other reviews and did a few of my own embellishments: used 1 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp allspice, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, used brown sugar instead of white, and replaced the milk with pumpkin pie liquor :). Baked for 10 mins at 375.

Crazy Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
Fan-frickin'-tastic! I took the advice of a few others and used 2 tbsp of vinegar and extra cocoa powder - and I added 2 extra ;) (I used Caribbean cocoa.) I also added a 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and used cake flour instead. I was a little nervous about how watery the batter seemed, but it turned out just right - very moist! I topped with ganache from another recipe on this site and sprinkled pecan chips over it. SO DELICIOUS. I will make this again and again.

Maple Raisin Oatmeal Cookies

These were awesome...flawless recipe. I make a few embellishments to have some fun with them: I left out the raisins and after they were cooled, i coated them in melted butterscotch chips and sprinkled with pecans. Extra yummy!

Pumpkin Nut Muffins

Very good! Just the right amount of sweetness. I added some coconut just because I had some. I used regular milk because I can't stand buttermilk. I will definitely make these again!

To steal a line from someone famous: Yum-O! I used mini chips and tossed in some pecans. I made the bar version and used an 11x17 cookie sheet. Worked perfectly. I will make these again!

Excellent! I'm a cinnamon lover so I added a teaspoon to the batter. I also did 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup butter-flavor Crisco. I will make these again!!

Magic Cookie Bars II

I made these last night to take to work. They were phenomenal! I would change it just a tad, though. I doubled the recipe so it wanted 2 sticks of butter. Next time, I'll only use 1 1/2 sticks.

This is my new favorite dessert. Not only is it quick & easy but it is super yummy. I just increased the Pumpkin Spice to 2 teaspoons because I love that flavor.

Treasure Cookies

Very awesome! Ooey gooey goodness! My oven bakes a bit hot, so I turned the heat down to 355 for 8 minutes or so. I highly recommend not spraying the cookie sheet first. There's really no need with that much butter.

Child-Proof Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2005
The end result cookie was somewhat tasty, but the dough was very crumply and cracked alot when rolled. I followed the recipe to the letter, but ended up adding more shortening to roll it out effectively. After the 3rd rollout, I gave up.
