Cookie Press Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2004
The dough was very difficult and stiff to work with. It is also very picky and has to be chilled just right, but not too much or it wont work with the cookie press. I wasn't too satisfied with the flavor, too dry and bland (even after adding an extra 1/4 cup of sugar). To sweeten things up a bit, I sprinkled more sugar along the tops before baking.

Pet Cookies

My Lab/Malamute mix LOVED these little treats. He is generally not too picky when it comes to treats, but I could tell the difference when he tasted these. He was VERY excited and couldn't get enough. We added 1 tsp. of Better than Bouillon (beef) and used beef baby food. Thanks!

Flank Steak a la Willyboy

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2007
Very pleased with this recipe. I put in slightly less honey, replaced the chili with red pepper flakes and doubled the garlic. I broiled until the internal temperaure reached 140 degrees and then let it sit for 5 minutes before carving. During this time, the temp rose to 145 degrees and was perfect. I also boiled the extra marinade and used it as a sauce to serve over the meat. Delicious.

Excellent recipe. I doubled the garlic and used red potatoes instead of russet.

Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2007
Good, but not great. I took the suggestion of others and used 1 c. ketchup and 2 c. BBQ sauce. The taste was more like 3 1/2 stars, but the ease of preparation and tenderness of the meat made this meal a 4 star. I will use this method again in the future, but will continue to tweak the sauce until it is just right.

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2005
I followed the suggestions and reduced the sugars and increased the PB, as well as sifting my powdered sugar beforehand. This recipe got rave reviews. The first batch was perfect, but the second batch set up too fast resulting in a somewhat crumbly fudge, but the flavor of both were amazing. This is a keeper. Thanks!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2005
WONDERFUL! I am not a fudge person and I loved this. The milk chocolate chips really helped smooth out the flavor and this got tons of rave reviews from friends. Thank you so much, this one is a keeper!
