Oh dear goodness! Amazing cookies! I found that 13 minutes was the perfect baking time. No crunch at all just gooey goodness!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2014
These brownies were just OK. They were VERY fudgy and chewy. I actually thought they were too chewy. Almost beyond a brownie texture. I did substitute 1 C of brown sugar for white, per user suggestion and I regret that. The flavor is a decent but not spectacular.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2014
I loved this bread! So easy! I didn't find it too sweet at all but it's a personal preference. My mind is buzzing with how many things I can make with this recipe as a base! Garlic! Cinnamon! Raisin! Oh dear this is fantastic!

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2014
This was too easy. Be sure to refrigerate those truffles for at least an hour before dipping them in chocolate. My mind is spinning with other possible combinations. My only concern is how we are expected to use EVERY Oreo for this recipe? My cookies suffered a few casualties while they were being made. :)

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2014
I have traded my usual zucchini bread recipe for this one! My husband said it was the best zucchini bread he's ever eaten. I did make some changes to the recipe. I exchanged 1 c white sugar for 1 cup brown and replaced 1 teaspoon cinnamon with 1 tsp nutmeg and I added an extra cup of zucchini. I'm glad I put in 3 c zucchini the bread was super moist. I made it in a bundt and also made a quick easy glaze. Using 4oz cream cheese 2c confectioners sugar 1tblsp butter 1tblsp milk 1 tbsp vanilla extract and cinnamon and nut meg to taste. Microwave until soft and pour over bread.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2014
I was very disappointed in this recipe. It had so many great reviews I chose it for my mothers birthday cake without even trying it. I thought it was very bland. It could have used more sugar definitely. The only part I liked was the crust (which I used a modification for).

The Old Boy's Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2014
I used all of CookingCutie's suggestions with the crumble. I also avoided the excess flour mixture. The consistency was perfection. I enjoyed not having to deal with a top crust and still getting a pretty pie. :)

Old Fashioned Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2014
I eliminated the cinnamon and did not put all the flour mixture into the pie. I'm glad I didn't. The pie consistency was spot on. I think the taste was good. With this pie, the crust choice is crucial. I use Ruth's grandmas pie crust (simple and delish with butter flavored baking stick). As far as it goes a cobbler is much easier with similar flavor.

Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2014
This is my go to pie crust. I refuse to use any other. My dad, who is the ultimate food critic, can find no fault in it. The recipe does not tell you to use ice water(watch the video). Also cool the dough in the fridge for an hour so it isn't too sticky. I substitute butter flavored baking sticks in lieu of shortening.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2014
Very good pumpkin bread. I made a few alterations and also made a glaze (everything is yummiest with icing!). I used a 1/2 c brown sugar and added pumpkin pie spice in lieu of clove and ginger. I also used butter instead of vegetable oil. This recipe was the perfect amount for my bundt pan.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: May 19, 2014
I would love for a good crust recipe to join this pie. I chose one that was difficult to work with. Also my husband wanted cinnamon added in. I added a teaspoon and felt it was a little over powering.
