Traditional Chili with Ground Turkey

The hubby said this was the best recipe we have tried. It was great and awesome to warm up the left overs. I personally think that I will be replacing the beef broth with just more tomatoes. We don’t eat any red meats so it set off a little flavor I wasn’t expecting. But over all was great and will be making again with just a few tweaks!

King Crab Appetizers

We love having these around to snack on or when we made chinese. We do not have tartlet pans so we have been using regular cup cake pans. The first batch I made I split the rolls like the recipe called for and we didn’t care for the rolls flavor so since I had bought multiple packages i tried it a little different the next time. I didn’t split the roll. I simply rolled it out very thin and placed it on top on the cup cake pan, filled it with the mixture and folded over the sides. I also added a little garlic salt and a little kickin chicken seasoning I really enjoyed them more than the first batch.

Chicken Lo Mein

The flavor was good. But something was missing? I feel like my sauce thickened too much? I may have cooked it on to high of heat? or added to much flour (we didn’t have cornstarch) I would like to try this again. Any tips?

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

This has been my favorite recipe thus far! I couldn’t get any Monterey Jack cheese so I replaced it with Pepper Jack. I pounded out the chicken so it was very thin and just came apart. Needless to say… there was no left overs!

Donut Muffins

I can’t get enough of these. I made them 3 days in a row because we ate them so fast! I can’t ever just have one. The hubby loves them bc they keep well and he can snack on them on his way to work. My 4 year old thinks they are “awesome muffins” Very pleased.

Cream Corn Like No Other

Really enjoyed this and my 4 year old that won’t eat any “creamy or saucy” foods even ate it. I do prefer more seasoning but overall was pretty good.

Jimmy Dean Breakfast Casserole

This was so much fun for me to put together! We do not eat red meats so we seasoned some group turkey and cooked up some turkey bacon, diced some tomatoes, put some fresh spinach and started layering it up! We loved it! Was even good for leftovers!

Baked Oatmeal

I will be giving this one another try! I think I cooked it too long bc it more so turned out as a oatmeal loaf rather than being a creamy yet thick oatmeal like i was expecting. The flavor was still good and went well with out breakfast supper we had.

Banana Bread IV

The family likes it. Its not the best recipe we have tried for banana bread but its simple enough to be satisfied. It wasn’t very moist so I like the idea of using a little applesauce and maybe a pinch of Nutmeg to give it a lil more taste!

High-Altitude Angel Food Cake

I haven’t made this recipe yet… but I want to! I have only ever made one angel food cake and it was out of a box. We just moved to Colorado Springs from Nebraska and the cake did not turn out ha! I never thought about the altitude … SO! We are around 800 feet higher. What do you recommend me to do to alter the recipe?! Thanks! Happy Baking!
