Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2014
Made this for my mom's birthday and we all loved it! The only thing I did different was to increase ingredients slightly for a 10" pie crust. Put in the fridge over night and it was perfect! Thanks for recipe.

Slow Cooker Carnitas

Used a 6 lb roast and doubled spices. Served over nachos with all the fixings. Served to family visiting and it was a huge hit. Will definitely make again.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2014
Good and easy. Followed recipe exactly and cooked for 8 hours on low. Tasted a little overcooked, 6 hours probably would have been better. After shredding put chicken back in crock pot on warm for 30 minutes. Everyone had seconds:)

Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2014
If you like suddenly salad you'll probably love this. Not as flavorful as some we make, but still good. Followed recipe except used cherry tomatoes halved, and after a day in the fridge I removed them to replace with fresh as they were mushy. Also added a little milk for day 2.

Teena's Spicy Pesto Chicken and Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2014
Great easy recipe. Followed recipe exactly, except used penne. I used chili pepper paste, not sure if that is the same as mentioned here, but it worked. The chicken was very tasty. In fact if I change anything it would be slightly less pasta and a little more chicken. Thanks for the recipe:)

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
AWESOME...EASY...what else is there to say? I always use a larger pork tenderloin and just add more root beer. This can feed a big crowd for cheap (when it's on sale for $1.99 per lb). It makes the meat so tender and yummy, you could skip the BBQ sauce. Thanks for the recipe.

Slow Cooker Boneless Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
Awesome turkey-everyone loved it! Could only find 3 lb boneless, so I used 2 in 1 crock pot. Only used 1 soup mix and slightly reduced the other herbs/spices. I'm really bad about getting ahead of myself, so I had mixed all the herbs/spices/soup mix/water together before I realized I was only supposed to mix the soup and water, then sprinkle on the rest. Well, it was still great. Will definitely be making this on a regular basis. It will be nice having turkey, other than just on Thanksgiving. Thanks for the recipe:)

Spinach and Orzo Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
Great salad! Followed recipe except for halving everything-realized last minute that I didn't have enough feta or pine nuts. My husband thought it was OK, but my 16 and 20 yr old kids loved it too. Definitely better to make in advance-flavors blend more. Will definitely make again, and hubby can have something else-thanks for the recipe:)

Pesto Chicken Florentine

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
Great flavor. My only complaint was that my chicken seemed chewy, probably not recipe, probably the chicken. We used Bertolli Alfredo sauce in the jar (couldn't find dry)and Kroger brand basil pesto. Added entire 10 oz bag of spinach and basil at the same time. Topped with diced tomatoes. Will definitely make again with, hopefully, better chicken. Thanks for the recipe:)

Ranch Chicken Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
Don't underestimate the simplicity of this dish-it was great! Not to mention VERY easy. Who couldn't use an easy recipe to whip up when time is short? I followed the recipe exactly, except for a few toppings that I didn't have on hand. The ranch salsa adds a lot-don't skip it. Very family friendly. Thanks for the recipe:)

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

WOW!! This is amazing! Huge hit! Followed ingredients except used thin sliced boneless chicken (2 1/2 lbs). Covered for 45 minutes and uncovered for 15 minutes. So good and so easy!

Sage Pork Chops

Very good, very easy. I bet this would work nice with other herbs (rosemary sounds especially nice). Fixed this exactly as stated and it is a keeper!

Very easy and very yummy! Used corn tortillas instead of flour, kept everything else the same. My entire family loved it. Would definitely make for guests.

Doubled the entire recipe and threw in a beef bouillon cube for flavor. Really good. Very easy prep on a busy morning when you're trying to get out the door.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2014
Great, simple cookie! I did freeze the reese cups and they were very easy to push into the cookie. They will not look done after 8 minutes, don't let that fool you. Be sure to cool completely before trying to remove from pan or they will mush together. I'll be making these as gifts-thanks for the recipe!

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2014
This is a great meal! Made for company and they LOVED it! I did only use 1/2 the onion soup mix as some reviews said it was too salty. Other than that the only change I made was adding mushrooms after adding the soup mix to the crockpot. Will definitely make again!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2014
This soup is amazing! A few reviews recommended doubling the cheese & broccoli and I did the first time, but not the second time I made it. And honestly it was really good both times. I did puree most of the broccoli to give it a smoother texture. This is one of my new favorite soups!

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2014
Very tasty and very easy. I thought it would taste too much like lasagna, but I think the addition of the sour cream gave it it's own unique taste, not to mention all the different cheeses. All of my teenage/adult children really enjoyed it. A few notes: This makes a lot so you may want to put something under the dish while cooking, as it bubbles over while cooking. Definitely cover with foil to keep from drying out. Depending on your oven bake time may be more like 35-40 minutes to heat thoroughly. Will definitely make again-Thanks for the recipe!
