Tangy Pear and Blue Cheese Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2005
this was a hit! I made it last night when we had guests over and they all couldn't stop telling me how great the taste was! I used feta cheese instead of bleu cheese since I didn't have any and it was still delish! I was making it for 5 people and changed: one head of lettuce, no red onion, one pear, toasted pecans (handful), about 3 ounces of feta. and for the dressing: 3 tbsp. distilled white vinegar, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. ketchup, 4 tbsp. olive oil. still tasted great!!!

Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2004
these were delicious muffins and really easy to make! i looked at other people's reviews and added 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg! they turned out great! i wasnt sure if i should add the chocolate chips or not, because i didnt think everyone would like them, so i just put some chocolate chips in a bowl next to the muffins so that people could add their chocolate chips if they wanted them. i cut my muffin in half and placed chocolate chips in the middle and since they were hot out of the oven it melted and gave it a delicious taste!

Banana Boats

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2004
mmm delicious mix of sweet but still healthy, and its great to eat once its hot out of the oven, though i took my banana log out and then had to put it back in because the chocolate chips didnt melt. reading the other reviews, i made a little pouch out of tinfoil and that worked much better. i also sort of scooped out the centers of the banana so that i could stuff more easily. was good in the end, make sure if baking in oven, to go a little longer-took me around 15-17 mintes.
