My Boys
About this Cook
I am a SAHM with a beautiful baby boy, 2 wild & crazy jack russell terriers, and a wonderful husband who is also my best friend. I love cooking and baking. It's a great way for me to relax and be creative. In my spare time I love the water so I'm always at a pool, or on the lake. I also enjoy yoga and pilates and need to do more of it to get rid of this baby weight!!
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking Mexican...I just can't get enough of it!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Christmas/Thanksgiving I am in charge of baking the cookies, pies, candies etc. I make a HUGE mess but I love every minute of it!
My cooking triumphs
Cooking the entire Christmas dinner last year for my family. It was so much fun!
My cooking tragedies
Cheesecake-just ask my husband, he won't even eat it!

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork
This turned out good, but the dried thyme was WAY overpowering. The pork was tender, juicy, and had great flavor, but next time I'm cutting back or omitting the thyme.

Buffalo Chicken Burgers with Blue Cheese Dressing
Probably the best burger I've ever had. Beef, turkey, chicken, whatever, this one takes the cake! Couldn't make the bleu cheese sauce b/c hubby hates bleu cheese, so topped it with Swiss. Also mixed together Ranch and Franks Red and it was divine!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip
This actually turned out a little on the dry side for me....maybe I kept it in the crock pot too long. Once I smothered it with cheese it seemed to be a little better.
