Whole Chicken Slow Cooker Recipe

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2015
Made this last night. OMG good! I usually bake my chicken but too dry. I will never do it another way again. I also reduced the salt to 2 tsp, skipped the white pepper (didn't have any) in it's place I used Chile & Garlic seasoning and cut back on the dry cayenne pepper. Used a quarter onion in the cavity. Served with chicken stuffing and gravy. My most satisfying meal in a really long time. Over and beyond my expectations! Thank you for the post!

Sweet Hot Mustard Chicken Thighs

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2014
Loved it! Definitely do again! Did as is, except for the chipotle seasoning since I didn't have it. Going to get it for next time. Can't wait to do it again. Next, want to try it on country pork ribs as medallions with pineapple and grill'em... Sound good? Hubby loved it too! It was a dinner that was so good I dreamt about it! Love that! Try it! You won't be disappointed. Also I marinated for day and half with 2 thighs and one boneless skinless chicken breast scaled down the recipe of course (only two of us).

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Fabulous. Have made this twice in a month - husband loves it and so does everyone at work - yum yum. Skipped the corn though - everything else the same. I put the chicken breast in frozen - came out fabulous.

Crisp Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2008
I also used butter instead of shortning. I recommend doubling the recipe as it does not make enough. Another tip is to use the Reynold nonstick aluminum foil, line your pans instead of greasing them - much easier to remove the cookies and less clean up. Next time I'm going to use butterscotch chips like my grandmother used to do with her oatmeal recipe. Simple, easy and fabulous.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2007
I made this a few days ago and I modified it, not much though. I changed the sugar to 1/4 cup and used teriyaki sauce instead of soy sauce. I boiled it up to let it thicken and then poured it over my cut up chicken breast in large chunks, broccoli, match stick carrott sticks and thin sliced onion in a foil oven bag and baked it on 325 for about 45 minutes to an hour. Served it over thin spagetti. It was to die for. Great recipe. Thanks.

I think this is a fabulous recipe. I followed the directions completely, except for the marjoram. Didn't have any. Didn't miss it either. Fabulous. Will use again and again. Thanks for posting it. :)

Creamy Vegetable Medley

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2006
I have this receipe however it has a few more items in the receipe. Add 1/2 cup of good white wine, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese and a can of water chestnuts. I don't like water chestnuts, but they do give the dish flavor.

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2005
Great receipe to follow. I used the chicken left over from the Simple Whole Roasted Chicken receipe on this site, and put in the onion and green pepper and let it warm up in the skillet with the seasonings. Then added the cheese and sour cream, put the top on and let it melt. I did not use the 15oz can of tomato sauce or water. I used about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of the Red Enchillada Sauce on this website since I wanted my filling more thick than tomato saucy. Placed the filling in the shells and baked them as directed with the rest of the Red Enchillada Sauce and 3/4 cup of cheese and was DELICIOUS. I will make this again and again and again. My husband was still talking about it the next day. Thanks for a great receipe.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2005
I made this last night - I used about a 1 - 1/2 lb roast and my husband loved it. I did not have any fresh black pepper to crack so I used regular black pepper and it was still good. It was very tender and we love garlic. I did not find this to be too salty either. My red wine was a sweeter type wine - maybe a drier wine would give it even more flavor but this receipe is a keeper!! Thanks :)

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2004
I was looking for something different rather than the usual saurkraut and port chops and I found it. My husband LOVED this receipe. He told me this morning that he had dreamt about it last night on how good it was. I used bone in pork chops, pinot grigio for the wine and sauteed some chopped onion and finely sliced garlic clove and mixed it in with the soup and milk. I'm sure fresh mushroom would be delicious but I didn't have any on hand. I did not have any seasoning salt either so I skipped that and I also put fresh cracked pepper on the pork chops before I dredged them. I also didn't have seasoned bread crumbs and just used regular with italian seasoning. This receipe is a KEEPER.
