Easy Sausage Cheese Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2004
Easy and quick! Great appetizer and good left over for breakfast. Don't overcook - they will start to disintegrate and dry out in the oven.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2004
Fantastic - a new family favorite! Instead of heating the chicken and pepper sauce first, I just threw everything into the slow cooker and stirred ocassionally until well-blended.

Chicken Enchilada Casserole II

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2006
This is a great recipe and my husband loves it! It's easy to prepare and very hearty. I switched to corn tortillas instead of flour because I thought the flour ones turned out with a slimy texture. I also use "hot" chili beans and top with a few sliced jalepenos because we like spicy food!

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2005
Super easy and delicious! Easily doubled and a great thing to prepare the night before so you can enjoy a leisurely morning with your family or guests. I used Pepperidge Farm seasoned croutons instead of sliced white bread - adds great flavor and makes the preparation even easier. I also added two extra eggs, a small white onion, and used sharp cheddar instead of mild.

Red, White and Blue Slaw Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2005
A huge hit at our family gathering! The blue cheese had some feeling hesitant, but as it's not an overwhelming flavor in the recipe, everyone enjoyed. It's a great twist on too-sweet or too-vinegary slaws. A tip - precooked bacon is worth it's weight on gold!

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2005
Yum! Everyone enjoyed and it was very easy to prepare! Per previous reviews, I microwaved the frosting for 20-30 seconds so it was easy to pour over the dessert. I'll definately make this again!

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2006
YUM! I really enjoyed this recipe - chewy and delicious. I used butterscotch chips instead of chocolate and reduced the baking powder by half because of other reviewers suggestions. You can't buy blonde brownie mix anymore - but who cares - this whipped up in no time! I will definately make these again.

Easy Cheesy Chicken I

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2006
Very good, creamy chicken recipe. I used one can cream of chicken, one can cream of mushroom, and can one broccoli cheese, one container sour cream, one package frozen broccoli, 4 large chicken breasts, garlic powder, salt/pepper - cooked in less than 4 hours. Served over egg noodles. Chicken was VERY tender and juicy - YUM!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2006
I do not like meatloaf, but I wanted to make a "mom" favorite for my meat-and-potatoes husband. This was so great! I used 1 pound 92% lean ground beef and 1 pound ground pork. Instead of the onion I used 1/2 can french-fried onions, then topped with other 1/2 can last five minutes of baking. I used Ritz crackers, and cut brown sugar to 1/4 cup. It was light but flavorful and not at all greasy. A new favorite in our house!

Oriental Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2007
This sauce was really great! It is quite salty as others have mentioned, but when served with mild dumplings or satay, it's a nice companion.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: May 22, 2007
I doubled the recipe for a larger dinner party and it turned out great! I used half beef broth and half wine instead of all red wine, and I threw in mushrooms and carrots. The pork was tender and the gravy added great flavor. I'll definately make this again!

Creme Brulee French Toast

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2005
I've had better baked french toast with richer flavor and better carmalized base, but overall the ease of this recipe is worth sacrificing a bit of flavor. I prepared this the night before as instructed and simply baked for my overnight guests before they woke. Give it a try!
