Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
This recipe was GREAT. My husband said it was the best chili he had ever had. If you don't like beans like we don't this chili can stand alone without it. Like another reviewer said this chili is quite spicy. My husband who loves spicy anything was glad I made it less spicy. Since we didn't use beans we omitted the spicy sauce and we also didn't use the pepper sauce. It still had plenty of kick. We also put this in the crockpot for 4 hrs on high. So Good! Give it a try!

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2010
This recipe is amazing. It's my husband's favorite dish that I make and he requests it all the time. Also, I've made this recipe for several people and they always love it. Many of them said they've never liked hamburger steaks before. I like to keep this recipe close to the original because it's that good. The only thing i change is that I add mushrooms and double the gravy so we can put it on mashed potatoes. Definitely give this recipe a try!

Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2005
This recipe was easy but time consuming. I like many others was unable to find rasberry pie filling and ended up using frozen rasberries instead. i added sugar to them so they would create their own syrup. I followed a lot of peoples advice by cutting the cookies to make them stand up. then i crushed some to make the bottom crust and chopped some for the middle layer. The cheesecake looked wonderful and tasted pretty good except that there were sooooo many rasberry seeds. I also agree with another review that this would make a better layered dessert because it's so hard to cut and serve.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2011
This is by far the best pot roast I've ever made. I took others advice and seasoned, floured and browned my roast on both sides. Since some people said the gravy was to thin I added 2 large heaping spoonfuls of Philadelphia savory garlic cooking cream. The gravy was amazing and the roast was so tender. I'll definitely be making this again.

Chicken Skillet Fajitas

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2011
This is our family's favorite way to make fajitas. I always add some taco seasoning for extra flavor but that's really the only change I make. This recipe is super easy and delicious!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2011
This pork was soooo good. We used a pork butt, added some beer while it was cooking and used sweet baby ray's bbq sauce. This pork is great to freeze and reheat. We just added a little extra sauce so it wouldn't get dried out while reheating.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2006
This dish was so good! I changed a few things though like other people had suggested. I sauteed the mushrooms and also sauteed the chicken. I doubled the sauce and it was the perfect amount. The only thing i might change next time is use fresh spinach since the canned had a very distinct taste(different from fresh).

Chewy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2011
These are the best sugar cookies. I kept the recipe the same except I used Mrs. Buttersworth syrup in place of the vanilla extract. I was dying to make these cookies but I was out of vanilla. I found out you can use syrup in it's place and now I'll always make them with the syrup. I think it gave it the perfect buttery sugar flavor. My husband said they were the best sugar cookie he had ever eaten and downed 5 in one sitting.
