Cinnamon Cookies II

Used vanilla instead of molasses and didn't use enough cinnamon. Can't wait to try it again. Easy recipe!

Lime Cilantro Cauliflower "Rice"

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2014
Very fresh, had a sweet taste that I wasn't expecting. Probably pretty tasty with a spicy Mexican dish and margarita, but did not taste right with baked chicken and mashed potatoes.

Maple Walnut Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2013
This pie is definitely better than your regular, run-of-the-mill pumpkin pies. It was pretty easy for a novice cook. I used 1-1/2 Tbsp maple syrup instead of maple flavoring. I needed to bake it for 5 minutes longer to make sure the middle was cooked. I forgot the cinnamon in the pie mixture, not noticeable. I totally did not understand what "cut in the butter" meant. It still tasted great, but it looked funny. My mother-in-law said to use a pastry cutter, and she will show me how. It was still yummy and I will be making it for Thanksgiving next year.

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2013
Super moist chicken! All of my favorite picky eaters ate every bite. I will definitely be making this again. I followed the recipe, not the video. My household will not eat mushrooms or cooked carrots. I fed them steamed broccoli (for whatever reason they will eat this, but not cooked carrots) and cut up oranges instead.
