True Blue Custard Crunch Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2013
I had to use frozen blueberries, but the pie still turned out just fine. I used walnuts because I didn't have pecans. This is incredibly easy to make, and the "custard" holds the pie together when you slice it which is a big plus in my book!

Sour Cream Apple Pie Deluxe

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2013
I ended up using more apples than the recipe calls for because I had 2 huge apples. The pie still came out amazing. The only things that I changed was putting a little cinnamon into the sour cream/apples mixture and using some walnuts in the crumb mixture. So easy and inexpensive for such a delicious pie! Definitely a keeper!

Hot Tamale Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2012
My fiance told me to give this recipe five stars once I told him the scale only went from 1 to 5. This was easy to make, and we made it together. We don't eat spicy food due to IBS, so we just used green bell pepper and mild salsa. Turned out beautifully and gives us plenty of leftovers for the week!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2010
I used applesauce in place of the oil and doubled the zucchini to 4 cups undrained. Added Lori's topping and mini chocolate ships and had guests over while baking this who were just eating the topping itself. This turned out super moist which I've been having trouble with using previous recipes. Will definitely keep this one.

Berry Rhubarb Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2010
This was my first rhubarb pie, and I was very happy with the way it turned out. I doubled the amount of fruit as other suggested and it was the perfect amount. I didn't completely double the sugar as I didn't want to over sweeten it since my boyfriend likes rhubarb a little more on the tart side. I'll probably go ahead and double it next time though. To firm up the filling I added a packet of unflavored gelatin and let the pie cool overnight to set.

Ranch Bean Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2002
I loved this dip! I t tastes like you're dipping ranch doritos into bean dip. I added a bit more cheese. I agree that it doesn't look too appetizing but the taste changed my mind. My frinds all loved it too!
