About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking Christmas cookies
My cooking triumphs
Cooking for groups of people because I tend to make more elaborate things and get neurotic while I'm cooking them! lol
My cooking tragedies
The first time I make peanut butter cookies I didn't know that they hardened up when cooling, so I baked them longer. They were rocks! lol

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole
Love, love, LOVE this recipe! So happy to have a green bean casserole recipe that uses french cut green beans and no cream of mushroom soup!!

True Blue Custard Crunch Pie
I had to use frozen blueberries, but the pie still turned out just fine. I used walnuts because I didn't have pecans. This is incredibly easy to make, and the "custard" holds the pie together when you slice it which is a big plus in my book!

Sour Cream Apple Pie Deluxe
I ended up using more apples than the recipe calls for because I had 2 huge apples. The pie still came out amazing. The only things that I changed was putting a little cinnamon into the sour cream/apples mixture and using some walnuts in the crumb mixture. So easy and inexpensive for such a delicious pie! Definitely a keeper!
