Beer Beef Stew II

Reviewed: May 21, 2006
Don't use Japenuese Chili sauce!!! That's Spicy. Other than that not bad at 8 hours. Don't do 2 hours.

Chicken Gruyere with Sauteed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2005
This recipe was very good, it also turned out excellent. However, I used more flour and I dipped the chicken in an egg yoke first.

Pumpkin Muffins II

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2005
This recipe was amazing! I didn't use cloves and I only used 1/2 teaspoon of allspice. I also sprinkled sugar on top. It was enough to make a loaf of pumkin bread too. It was deffinetly a winner.

Salmon in the Dishwasher

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2005
Although my review probably won't be read, since so many others have reviewed this recipe... It was the best salmon I have ever had!!!! Hands down. This idea is geneous. I used all the recipe ingredients then added garlic powder and onion powder. It couldn't have turned out better. I used salmon steaks. I was a little worried about not having a backup plan, but it turned out to be the most juicy, moist, and flavorful salmon I have ever had!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again for this recipe. I don't know if I will ever cook salmon in the oven ever again.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: May 27, 2005
This recipe was excellent! However I followed all the advice from the other reviews. I put in 2 spashes of worchestire sauce, garlic powder instead of garlic, 1 whole egg and then cooked. Ours came out a little dry, next time I will definetly be broiling this. It would be awsome with carmalized onions on top. It was so good. I am now a big fan of turkey burgers.

Busy Day Chicken

Reviewed: May 26, 2005
The recipe cooking time is way over what it should be. I cooked it for only 7.5 and my chicken was fried. The barbeque sauce was like tar. However, I do believe that every slowcooker is a bit different. I do want to try this recipe again, simply because of it's convenience factor. I think I would do 5.5 hours on low.

Chicken Stock

Reviewed: May 25, 2005
Best chicken stock we have ever made! The smell of your chicken in the winter time is amazing. We put them in muffin pan's and freeze them. When they are frozen we pop them out and put them in a ziplock bag. They will stay fresh for 6 months and you can easily add them to other recipes.

New Orleans Jambalaya

Reviewed: May 25, 2005
This recipe takes the cake for Jambalaya! If your friends go to put hot sauce on it before they try it, you should be insulted. It's that good.

Beer Battered Chicken

Reviewed: May 25, 2005
This recipe tasted absolutely wonderful. It was a really nice way to do chicken since I eat it like 3 times a week. I did forget to cut the chicken into strips, and it still tasted wonderful. Definetly a winner. I will be making this again and again.

Spaghetti with Broccoli and Mushrooms

Reviewed: May 22, 2005
Excellent side dish. We served it as a vegatarian meal, but it would be a good side dish to fish as well. Will definetly be making again.

Grilled Strip Steaks with Horseradish Guacamole

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2005
This was a really neat idea. I give it 4 stars for origionality. However, the horseradish was overpowering. I would try this again but scale way back on the horseradish.

Guinness® Corned Beef

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2005
This was an awsome idea for St.Patrick's Day. I improved on the idea by taking the beef brisket, cutting it in half and placing it in my slow cooker. Then I placed 1/2 a cup of onions on top. Then I poured the beer on top and slow cooked it for 10 hours. It was to die for! I will be making this every year for St. Patrick's day.

Awesome Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2005
This recipe is amazing. We quickly realized that we had never had truly good chicken noodle soup before. This is well worth the extra effort. You must make it with your own chicken stock. I truly came to understand the meaning of comfort food when I made this soup during the winter. It will always be a family favorite. Thanks Alan!

Lemon Pepper Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2005
This was a great recipe for a side dish. It would go well with chicken or fish. I would suggest only a half a pack of noodles though. That's what I used and it turned out very nice.

Shrimp and Artichoke Linguine

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2005
One package of noodles was definetly too much. Only use a half a package of noodles, or put a lot more sauce in it. Otherwise it was very good. I would like to try it again, but with fewer noodles.
