Paul's Pumpkin Bars
I thought these were delicious. I've been using this recipe for a few years and everyone loves them. I only make them to bring somewhere because I don't want to eat too many if they are around my house! I'm not sure what the people who said they were "cakey" were expecting. In my experience "Pumpkin Bars" are always cake-like. If you are expecting something different, I would look for a different recipe. I think it's just something people have always called them because you make them in a "bar" or jelly roll pan? Thanks for a great recipe. Oh, I think I always add in spices (I only make these once a year so sometimes I forget) that seem right at the time.

Waffles I
Very good! I did add extra sugar (quite a bit, maybe 4 T in all) because I'm not a syrup fan. Probably shouldn't because my kids love syrup and put maple syrup on them! I've tried MANY recipes, this is a keeper for sure. I've never thought beating the egg whites separately until fluffy made much of a difference, even though I almost always use a recipe that calls for that. I like recipes that are slightly sweet and not "eggy" tasting. This one fits the bill. The secret if you don't like "soggy" (I don't care either way) is to watch your waffle maker and get to know it. Don't rely on the light to go off or on. If you like yours more crispy, and it's still steaming quite a bit, don't open it yet. You won't want to wait until the steam stops completely, most likely, but lessens. I'm not sure if the irons are on timers or sensors but just watch for steam amount. Thanks for a simple, delicious recipe.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
These really are the best chocolate chip cookies! I've tried many recipes...they are all okay. But this one was delicious! I didn't add walnuts but followed recipe otherwise. Also, I used salted butter and cut down the butter just a tiny bit, I always have salted butter but not un-salted so that's what I used. I made them very big, the biggest of the three Pampered Chef scoops...I think they took about 14 minutes. To the reviewer that said they were so hard you could break your teeth the next day, I think you made an error. These stayed soft for days. I think I finally have a "go to" chocolate chip cookie recipe now. Thanks!
