Chicken Thighs Surprise

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2014
Twas delicious! My aunt was over for dinner and she has celiac's.. This was a perfect dish to serve with her as a guest.. I did have to cook it much longer than stated, so watch for that!!! Oh, and I would also follow the other suggestions and serve over a bed of rice, white/basmati/saffron/wild - Any would be great... It is very soupy AND delicious!

Sweet Potato, Carrot, Apple, and Red Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2014
I was super excited to make this soup per the reviews... I was sadly disappointed in the "lack" of much flavor, maybe I should have doubled all the spices. Unfortunately, this is not something I will make again, which is sad because we are a Family of Soup Lovers.....

Mexican Zucchini Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2013
We loved this soup. My son kept saying, "this is the best soup ever." I roasted all the veggies before turning them into the soup! So good. Thanks for sharing

Healing Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
Loved this soup - the longer it simmers the better and the next day, it super good. I added some carrots and potatoes for more of a mouthful and of course used chicken & veggie stock! My kids loved it too....

Summer Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2009
Thought this was delicious. Very light and healthy tasting. It was a bit watery, so do sweat your zucchini before you assemble. I always add more garlic and add brown sugar to EVERYTHING, so for simplicity sake, add those to your meat sauce.

Creamy Carrot Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2008
I loved this soup as well. My modifications were using veggy broth, some garlic, 1/2 and 1/2 and whole milk and at the end when all was blended and re-simmering, I added some white wine and a bit of italian cheese! Very very good, light and healthy tasting. Thanks for the great use for the carrots from our garden!

Spicy Black and Red Bean Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2004
I loved the basics of this soup - you had no spices OR "love" so I added a whole lot of cumin, chili powder, cayanne pepper, wayy more garlic and a can of creamed corn. I blended up a can of pinto beans and the tomatoes (sweet onion) to make it a bit thicker. Great Base reciepe!
