German Pancake with Buttermilk Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2005
Delicious but extraordinarily fattening. Naturally I did not have all the ingredients. Thus instead of buttermilk I used sour cream, and instead of corn syrup I used maple syrup, and it still came out fine.

Aloo Matar

Not particularly authentic Indian, but delicious as a side dish and very good over rice. I also added some peas to round it out.

A terrific recipe for basic quiche Lorraine - can do no wrong. Use the "Never, Never Fail Pie Pastry" recipe for the crust.

Indian Matar Paneer (Cottage Cheese and Peas)

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2005
WOW was this good - just a terrific recipe. Beware though that separating curds from the liquid is not easy and if you haven't done it before you should allow a little more time for that part.

Fish Tacos

I don't even like fish, but this is delicious - the mixture of spices with the bouillon is terrific. My family eats it plain (no taco, like a hot fish salad) and it's a favorite.

Baked Asian-Style Honey Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2005
If you've every had chicken baked in paper in a Chinese restaurant, this is a close approximation of it, and it's very good. If you chop the pieces of chicken up into tiny pieces and wrap each one individually in tinfoil, you can nearly recreate Chicken wrapped in paper. Otherwise, the original recipe turns out very well on its own.
