Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: May 12, 2010
Just about as easy as it gets. I use sweet baby ray's sauce usually and omit the sugar. Very good for minimal effort!

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
Yum! I made this into a slow cooker dish as well and made some small changes. I didn't saute the onions, just put them in with the other ingredients. I put one extra can of drained beans in and used 6 thin chicken breasts halves because it's what I had on hand. I also hit it with a dash of chili seasoning and topped with sour cream.

Chickpea Salad II

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2006
This was pretty good! I doubled the parmasan, garlic and salt and also added pepper. I also added cooked couscous like someone suggested, I think the recipe as is is too bland.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2005
This was good, and very easy! I think I would add beans next time to thicken it a bit.

Angel Hair Pasta Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2005
I doubled the amounts the recipe called for, and it was still tasteless to me.

Strawberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: May 30, 2005
Well the taste is good but it's sooo runny. I have made it twice and both times I ended up with a strawberry soup. A yummy soup, but not a cobbler! I am not sure what I could have done differently, I even added extra corn starch last time.

Strawberry Pie II

Yum!! I used a graham cracker crust and I think that made the pie. I will make this again!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2004
This was pretty good! I admit to being skeptical of the Velveeta, but it made a nice flavor. I added a good bit of shredded sharp cheddar just to make the cheese flavor a little stronger, but very impressive for how easy it is.

"Mini Pecan Pies" is what my husband calls these cookies. They are fantastic and very easy to make!

Garlic Green Beans

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2004
I thought I had reviewed this recipe before now but apparently not - it is fabulous! By far my husband an my favorite way to have green beans. I usually add more cheese than is called for. Yum!

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2004
This is a really great recipe! It tastes like something from a restaurant and is so easy to make. I usually jazz it up a bit and to make it a bit more spicy and have used dried and fresh basil, it is always good.

Apricot and White Chip Cookies with Almonds

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2004
I seem to be in the minority but I just didn't like these cookies at all. The texture and look were fine, but I didn't care for the flavor. My husband got generic white chocolate so maybe that was part of the problem, but these were the last cookies to be eaten.

Buttercream Icing

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2004
I gave this one two stars because the texture and look of it was nice, but the Crisco taste was overwhelming to me. I added twice the vanilla to try and mask it but it was still there. So if you don't mind the taste of shortening then you may like this one, but I will stick with all butter recipes from now on!

Maple Walnut Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2004
This recipe was delicious and so easy to make. I'm not even the biggest maple flavor fan but I can't stop eating the stuff! I suggest a 8x8 or 9x9 pan unless you want very thin fudge. I also use a bit more maple flavoring than suggested or you will taste the white chocolate. Someone mentioned foil getting stuck to the fudge - if you cut it with the foil underneath this will happen. I pulled the entire fudge out and peeled the foil off in a sheet, before cutting the peices. I then stored the pieces with wax paper in between in the refridgerator.
