I have used this recipe for several years! It always turns out perfect!! I get so many compliments on it and it has become a tradition of my sister & I to make around 30 every October and give to friends and neighbors! I used fresh pumpkin this year and it was even more amazing. Pie pumpkins are very cheap this time of the year and when making these in bulk it seemed more reasonable. It was just as easy and I cup of fresh pumpkin replaced the canned pumpkin. I will never go back to canned pumpkin!! For the lady that said the filling was to runny, it will be when you first spread it. Once you roll it again and refrigerate the filling will become more solid and be perfect. The key is to not ice the edges and don't roll it to tightly. It will cause the overflow. I watched the video this year for the first time and if is your first time making this highly suggest it. It gave you a lot of good ripe so your roll will turn out perfect!
