Cheese Fondue

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
This turned out perfect; followed it as per directions. I always change up different cheese combos for a different variation. We introduced our 4 year old son to this the other night and the three of us had a blast!! Excellent recipe!!!

BLT Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
Very good. Tastes just like the name. It was great the day I made it; but the next day it did become runny and really wasn't enjoyable. I even seeded the tomatoes and chopped just the skins. If it will all be eaten the day of; no worries. It was a hit!

Cocktail Meatballs

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
I made these for my son's 4th birthday party. They we're a hit with the young and the old. I unfortunately didn't have the chili sauce when I went to make it so I substituted honey garlic sauce for the chili; it was fabulous!! So yummy!

Artichoke Cheese Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
Incredibly delicious, warm and gooey. What a simple dip. I couldn't find artichokes at the time so I substituted canned asparagus spears instead. We loved it. Can't wait to try it with the artichoke.

Fresh Salsa II

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2006
Finally; a totally fresh salsa which I've been looking for a long time. What a refreshing treat. I blended mine in a food processor though. I doubled the garlic; processed this first then added the chopped onions, and jalapenos, cilantro and lemon juice and pulsed to smooth. Lastely added the tomatoes; and just pulsed to consistency preferred. Tons of fresh flavour; a totally authentic mexican treat. Thanks for a great recipe

Porcupines

This recipe turned out excellent. I didn't have garlic powder; so I used garlic salt. It's cabbage rolls without the cabbage. Will make again.

Amazing Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2005
I modified this recipe a little since I didn't have mayonnaise and bread crumbs on hand. I used nonfat sour cream in place of the mayonnaise and panko inplace of the bread crumbs. They turned out yummy and tender and just absolutely wonderful. Great chicken recipe

Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal Raisin

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2005
These were really great. Satisfying and healthy for my family. I love recipes with whole wheat flour. I did however use 3 bananas instead of the 1 which made the batter much more thinner and therefore producing a much more moist cookie. What a wonderful combination of flavours. For our busy lifestyles they are a wonderful and healthy snack.

Jam Filled Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2005
I made these this week for Christmas baking and they were absolutely delicious, light, and buttery. I was searching for an alternative recipe which I had been making for years; and this will definetly be the new replacement. My son and husband love them soooo much; there won't be any around for Christmas. The best thumbprint cookie recipe ever!!

Cream of Fresh Asparagus Soup II

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2005
Not bad. I had to cook the asparagus for longer than the recommended time and I had to frequently add chicken broth as it would cook off. I didn't have sourcream and so I added whipping cream instead of the milk. It was overall pretty good; just not what I was expecting. I would probably leave a couple of spears of asparagus whole next time for a little crunch. Will try again and give it another try.

Roasted Rack of Lamb

We loved it!!! I increased the cooking time by 10 minutes and it came out medium rare just the way our company loved it. There was no leftovers. It was beautifully elegant and easy to make.

Creamy Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2005
I just finished making this for my husband who was craving his favourite variety of Cream of Mushroom Soup. I had a lb. of fresh button mushrooms and followed this recipe to the T. It turned out beautifully warm and creamy. Absolutely delicious. I have a feeling I won't be buying that popular brand anymore:)!

This is the third time I've made it; and we've gotten awesome reviews. The bowl is always cleaned out. I've preassembled this the night before and taken out an hour before to sit at room temperature and then cooked as described. Awesome and easy!!!

Shrimp and Crab Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2004
I varied this recipe for time preparation as well as some of the ingredients. I had taken out a shrimp ring and wanted a quick recipe to cook in the oven. I used 1 1/2 cups of uncooked instant rice, I didn't have the crabmeat and so I added 1 can drained peaches n' cream kernel corn and 1 1/2 roasted red peppers from the jar, I left out the almonds as we don't care for them. I then mixed everything in a bowl and placed in a greased glass 13x9 baking dish and then baked at the temperature specified for 40 minutes with the crackers on top. It turned out wonderfully creamy and tasty. What a hit and it was quick and comforting. I'll make this one again; for sure. Thanks for the great recipe!!

Scrumptious, warm and creamy. Great for an autumn/winter's night. Makes enough for left overs and so it's even better the next day. This one won my husband's heart.
