This is an absolutely incredible dessert, and was the highlight of our Cinco De Mayo festivities, but I do have to rate it as it is written. The butter (I think way too much) was just puddled on top at the end, so I have decided next time I will try to just brush on the butter and then sprinkle cinnamon/sugar on. It's already too much sugar for me on top, so I will cut down on that next time. Also, I agree with others that the bottom crescent dough should just be put in the pan and then pushed out to the edges, but for the top, I rolled with a rolling pin and then rolled it very loosley and put on top and unrolled. It worked very well. I used 1 package fat free and 1 package reduced fat cream cheese, as well as 3/4 cup sugar instead of the full cup. This did not tase like it was lacking at all. The honey, in my opinon, is not necessary, but I did think some fresh strawberries or raspberries would have tasted wonderful. Try this recipe! Your taste buds will be delighted!
