Parmesan Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2006
Great soup! I added about 1/4-1/2 tsp red pepper flakes to add a little spice. I also used red potatos and added about 3 cloves of minced garlic in while they boiled away. Lastly, I just dumped the entire container of cheese in too (about 1 3/4 cups). Yummy! Next time I might add browned, ground sausage to the mix. Thank you for the recipe!

Ham and Cheese Bowties

Spectacular dish! I added a sprig (not a leaf but a whole sprig) of fresh, minced basil and about a tablespoon of Italian Seasoning. It was wonderful! I also took the suggestion of one of the raters and used a cup of colby and a cup and a half of mozzerella for the sauce. It was so yummy!

Beefy Corn Bread Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2006
This was a great side dish but could possibly be used as a main dish as well. I followed the directions exactly and had great results. I did mess up and put the second layer of cheese on the top so it was a little hard to cut but didn't hurt the overall flavor of this dish. Thank you! :)

Chorizo Stuffed Bell Peppers

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2006
Absolutely fantastic! I did a few things differently though. One, in order to make it spicy I minced two green Serrano peppers and added it in with the other herbs. This is pretty spicy so if you want some spice but not a lot, I'd only put in one. Second, I accidentally grabbed fresh cilantro at the store instead of basil. I added half of the bushel and it was fabulous. Lastly, when I cut off the tops of the bell peppers, I trimmed them up and and diced up the excess and added that in with the veggies also. I don't usually try new recipes unless they've had a lot of high ratings but the combination on herbs, spices and meat sounded so wonderful and I was NOT disappointed. You will love this recipe.

Chicken in a Pot

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2005
This was pretty yummy. We had to double the broth mixture though to make sure we had enough to cover the chicken. All together though it was pretty good. Thanks!
