Butterscotch Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2012
Perfect go-to recipe for the holidays! I live at over 6500' elevation and this recipe turns out perfectly "as is" every single time I make it! I have used rum flavoring and vanilla when I didn't have butter flavoring. I have also made it with all vanilla chips when I didn't have butterscotch chips. Everyone raves about this and it turns out perfectly every time! In a 9 x 13 pan you will have nice thin slices of fudge. If you want thick slices, I recommend using a much smaller dish.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2011
The best chili recipe ever! I made it for our end of the season party for my daughter's soccer party! Everyone loved it and wanted the recipe! The onlye thing I changed was I didn't put the celery in it and I used a little less sausage than required!

Quick Cheeseburger Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2008
SO easy and fast! I used a store-bought crust and then used sweet pickle relish vs. the dill pickle juice and pickles. I couldn't find the swiss cheese so used cheddar cheese and it was great. We set mayo, mustard and ketchup on the table and the whole family got to make their cheeseburger pie complete! My son had 3 helpings! Now I want to try the Mexican version!

Easy Decadent Truffles

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2008
Some people said this tasted like frosting but I disagree. When coated in white or dark chocolate it tasted like one great truffle! I made them for a party and everyone went on and on about them! I did a mixture--some were coated in coconut flakes, some in white chocolate, some in dark chocolate and some in caramel! I also added some toffee chips to the tops of some. I've made this recipe twice already! I love it!

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2008
My family LOVED this recipe, including my 4 year old daughter and 7 year old son. My son had 3 helpings! The kids even ate their veggies, as they were able to mix them in with the casserole. My husband and I put some jalapenos on top to spice things up a bit!

Artichoke Spinach Dip

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
I took the recommendations from others and sauteed the garlic gloves in butter. I also doubled the spinach and artichokes. It was a little too creamy before I doubled the spinach. Even my kids loved this recipe. My son (he's 6 years old!) says it's better than at the restaurants!! A keeper!

Caramel Bars

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
I didn't change a thing and this is the BEST recipe! I live at high altitude and still didn't have to do anything different! Well, I used pecans instead of walnuts because our family doesn't like walnuts. I will cherish this recipe!

Cathy's Banana Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2006
LOVE it! What a great, easy recipe and it tastes great! Turned out perfectly, even at higher elevation. (we're at around 7000 ft.) I added just a little more flour for the altitude conversion and turned out great! THANKS for the recipe, Cathy!

World's Best Peanut Butter Fudge

This fudge is AWESOME! It truly tastes like the kind you get at the store! It turned out perfectly following the recipe exactly and even worked at high altitude (here in Colorado). Thanks so much!

Peanut Butter Balls II

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2005
I've made this recipe over and over during the holidays and I love it! It's great with or without the chocolate topping and you can either make a few really large balls or several small ones! Everyone loves them! Thank you Sharon for a great recipe!!!

Sweet and Sour Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2004
I have 2 words for this recipe---"AWE"--"SOME"!!! My husband says it's the best meatloaf he's ever had, and he'll gladly eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! I used 1/2 red onion instead of the minced onion and it was great! I'll probably make extra sauce for company in case others want more sauce. I didn't use as much white sugar as it called for and it was still soooo good! The sauce is good enough to drink!! YUMMY!!
