Seafood Salad Supreme

Reviewed: May 28, 2007
My guests (as I) absolutely LOVED this dish!!! I used salad shrimp, canned crab, and rotini pasta. I only added a very small amount of cheese (I forgot)....all in all it was still GREAT! I'll add this to my favorites. I also went with other's recommendations and added more Old Bay (while cooking the crab and shrimp together with butter and garlic), and added the powdered Ranch packette. Scrumptious!

Chicken Marsala II

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2008
It was good, but as others stated...not enough sauce. I doubled the recipe, but will triple it next time. I didn't taste the bacon so I may try prosciutto next time. I added onions, garlic, and cream to the sauce. The chicken was TENDER! Good stuff.

Mmmmm! I think it was the combination of dill & cheese that did it. Yummy as written.

Biscochitos Traditional Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2009
These weren't exactly like Grandma used to make, but they did take me back. Next time I'll add more anise. The dough got rather crumbly so I had to keep adding butter. This recipe's a keeper~~~I'll just tweek it to make it my own.

Easy Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2009
This is a good start! I use one can of "regular" canned peaches and one can of peach pie filling~~~~so it wont be so runny. I also used frozen pie crust on top. I'm all about the crust! It came out GOOD this way.

Country Quiche

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2009
Very good! I too added bacon for additional flavor. It worked for both dinner & breakfast (as I work nights)! I did feel it needed something.......an herb of some kind. I'll probably try some rosemary, basil, or something on my second try. But overall~~great recipe!

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
Chicken Marsala is ALWAYS good! There's something about cooking the chicken in the Marsala that makes it so tender! I always add cream to cut the bitterness (or sharpness) of the Marsala and or wine. It comes out GREAT. Oh, and I love mushrooms so I usually add a LOT!

White Chip Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: May 14, 2011
These cookies were JUST what the doctor ordered! I needed something I could bake with the ingredients I had on hand; this was it! I also added pinon, which was good to me. I made them just as the recipe dictated. There's so many I'll just have to eat them all. :0) SCRUMPTIOUS!

Everybody just LOVED these! I made them for my holiday party and they stole the party. I tasted while making, but never ate one. But they did just what I wanted them to do.....entertain!

Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
SCRUMPTIOUS! As suggested by another reviewer I added Lipton onion soup mix. I also added Poultry seasoning as I often use with these sorts of dishes. Oh, and I added cream to both my mashed potatoes & meat (I know, I'm terrible). But it was tasty and not as heavy as the shepherd's pies I've made in the past (even with the cream).
