Delicious Angel Hair Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2015
It was dry and the lemon flavor did not mesh well with the sugar. There was also way too much seasoning. To be fair, I doubled the pasta and doubled the seasoning, so it was a lot. I ended up washing it off in a colander because we couldn't eat it.

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2014
All of my picky eaters loved these. I followed the advice of others and put the chicken in a bag with 4 tbsp oil, 2 cloves of garlic, salt and pepper; then dipped in the breadcrumb (seasoned) and Parmesan mixture. I also sprayed with cooking spray before cooking to keep crispy.

Chef John's Perfect Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2014
He's right, perfect fluffiness! I used 2% milk and they were fine. A little more butter would be even better, but these were good as is without being too fattening for a regular meal.

Overnight French Toast II

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2013
I made this for Christmas morning and almost everybody who tried it loved it and had seconds. I used maple syrup instead of corn syrup and added cinnamon to the butter mixture. The rest was as stated and it came out great. I used a stoneware roaster and multiplied the recipe by 1.5 and layered it. I served it by flipping it upside down. I did not have any parts harden, not even the next day after the leftovers had been in the fridge overnight. It was delicious.

The Best Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2013
I followed Sarah Jo's modifications and they came out fine, they're just nothing special. I like the flavor better wo the cream cheese and Parmesan cheese and just using cream or milk warmed with the garlic in it.

Asparagus Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2013
This was very quick and easy (and made with ingredients most people have on hand), and my husband and I both enjoyed it. I loved the lemon zest, although he didn't like that part as much. I used 1/3 tsp of dried thyme because I didn't have any fresh.
