North Carolina-Style Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
I too made this in the slow cooked, 7 hours on high. Also, like other reviewers I only used 1 cup of cider vinager. This was super tasty, and very easy.

French Onion Soup Gratinee

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2008
Excellent. I added a bit more wine and next time I'd probably use 1 less onion as I found it to be more like a stew consistancy rather tham soup by the time the bread soaked up alot of the broth.

BBQ Chicken Pizza I

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2007
Great recipe. I used a spicy chipotle sauce and I always make my pizza on mini whole wheat pitas. Just toast them in the oven a few minutes before you put toppings on them.

My only tip is to refridgerate the egg salad before making it into the sandwiches.. it's better cold.

absolutely delicious. added 1 egg, 1 tsp garlic powder, pepper, some fried onion, 1/4 cup of bread crumbs. The burgers were easy to form, and didn't crumble. Served on a bun with tzatziki sauce.

Good except I recommend doubling the recipe as it is small, and 2 pkg's of onion soup mix is plenty even when doubled.

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2007
If I could give this 10 stars I would. There were 4 of us for supper, and 1.5lbs of shrimp was plenty with leftovers. If you are going to put this over linguine, add about a cup and a half of white wine while baking. It made the world of difference. I served it with cheese and garlic biscuits from this site, and my guests were dipping it in the left over sauce from the shrimp! yummmmmy.

used balsamic vinager because I didn't have red wine, and the taste was a bit stong. Wasn't my favourite.
