Very high fat recipe, so I lowered the fat by changing to 1/2 cup olive oil and used part-skim mozarella. Also used whole wheat flour. With changes it is only a marginal product.

Pretty tasty salmon cakes! I used a whole egg rather than two yolks to get the binding properties of egg white. I filled a 1/3 cup measure with mixture, patted it in, then shook it out into my hand and flattened it a bit before frying. This worked well. The next day I cooked the remaining mixture on the Foreman grill. No problems with the patties breaking apart! I sprayed one side of the patties generously with Pam, then put that side on the grill and sprayed the top generously before closing. I cooked them about 2 minutes until the tops were well browned. Using the tool made for the grill, the patties lifed right off.

Very blah! I took the suggestion to use less soy sauce so it wsan't salty and used 2 TBSP. There was no flavor to this marinade. If I had used the full amount of soy sauce it would have tasted like salty soy sauce and nothing else.

I used home dried plums in place of apricots, peach jam, yellow onion, green cabbage and olive oil - 2TBSP. Since I changed the recipe so much, I won't give it a star rating. However, the recipe is a nice sweet n'sour cabbage with interesting spices. I look forward to trying it with dried apricots.

Good flavor, like banana bread. I knew 1/2 cup nuts wouldn't be enough to make this more like a cookie than a muffin top, so I added coconut, raisins and a few more nuts.

Edible, but not great. Too much parmesan overpowered the basil.

It was an okay salad. Wouldn't be very interesting without the cranberries!

Good recipe. I halved the butter and it was plenty. Next time I will use less sugar as it was a bit too sweet for my taste.

I used a can of low sodium chicken broth and the rest water. Otherwise followed the recipe. I didn't add any chili mixture to my bowl. I'm wondering if the Chili heat keeps one from realizing that the stew has no flavor! I didn't even finish the bowl I served myself. Just no flavor. If my husband wasn't willing to eat the rest of the stew I'd throw it away.

I like this pretty well, but will keep searching for a better one. I used a can of diced tomatoes, drained, rather than tomato sauce and 2 tsp. curry powder as friends requested "mild."

Very good! I didn't have enough time to bake the eggplant in the oven so cooked on top of the stove in oil till soft and then as instructed. I left the peel on the eggplant and it was just fine. I will be making this again.

Good, good, good! I used a leaner cut of beef and cooked it in beef broth to remove some of the fat. After shredding the beef, and saving the broth for soup, I added the remaining ingredients and cooked until the sauce was reduced. My husband turned his nose up as he walked through the kitchen while I was shredding the beef. He isn't fond of BBQ beef. He loved it and had seconds!

I tried this recipe without the sugar and margarine and it was great.

To make this recipe more heart healthy I used reduced fat cream soup, 2% evaporated milk and left the peel on a granny smith apple. I microwaved whole, skinned chicked thighs, covered with wax paper, for 10 minutes. Then transferred them to the sauce cooking on the stovetop to finish cooking. The recipe had good flavor. Cooking the thighs in the sauce from start to finish would have made the sauce too runny.

While I liked the consistency of the finished product, I didn't find it to have a good orange flavor even though I added 1 tsp orange extract instead of the almond extract. It's also sweeter than I like. If you want orange biscotti add much more orange zest and orange extract.

Excellent shortbread type cookie. I like a strong orange flavor, so added 1 T of orange zest. Next time I will add more.

Make sure you try this recipe with the orange zest and cinnamon. With the zest of an entire orange it gets 5 stars. I used 6 large eggs and it was fine.
