About this Cook
To me, cooking comes so easily. And I am grateful for this everyday. I am constantly perusing this website for new and exciting recipes. When in the kitchen, I am in bliss. Some other things I enjoy when I don't have a knife or pan in hand... -riding my cruiser on the beach -ordering new books on Amazon.com or shopping in Barnes and Noble -nature photography (taking pictures and editing) -crafting (flower hair pieces) -random weekend adventures -exploring my new home, California (this state has so much to offer!)
My favorite things to cook
pumpkin cookies. chicken soup. chili lime chicken. arepas. egg white omelettes. chicken tacos with homemade tortillas. individual chicken pot pies. whole wheat pasta dishes. [im clearly a fan of the chicken haha]
My favorite family cooking traditions
spaghetti and meatballs on Christmas day.
My cooking triumphs
Finally mastered Arepas.
My cooking tragedies
::gasp:: no such thing! Everything is a learning experience :]

This is one of my favorite dishes (the fiances too). I live in a condo and cannot have a grill. I basically use the marinade recipes for chicken tenders. I let it marinade in the fridge for about 1 hr and pan cook it. Usually serve it with some rice and cilantro. Mmmmm...
