Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
Love these! Super easy to make using a stand mixer. Based on other reviews, I used 3/4 cup brown sugar and 3/4 cup white sugar, next time I'd try 1/2 cup of each as they are sweet with the 3/4 of each. I used 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips and 1/2 cup chopped dried cherries. Absolutely divine!!!

Classic Waffles

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2013
I've made these waffles twice, both times they were fantastic. The second time I used powdered milk, that worked just fine. Both times I doubled the recipe, except for the salt and eggs, the salt I used 1 tsp and the eggs I used 3 and added 1/4 cup of water to compensate for liquid of egg I didn't have. I used a whisk on the wet ingredients. The waffles were light and yummy!

Soft, Moist and Gooey Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2012
Wow! Best cinnamon bun I've ever eaten! Crispy outside, soft inside. I increased the cinnamon to 1 tbsp. I used 3/4 cup soft butter spread on the dough and 1 cup brown sugar, the cinnamon and raisins sprinkled over the butter. I rolled the dough on an oiled surface, this stopped it from sticking to the counter. I will set the oven to 200F next time and do the second rise in the oven with a bit of heat. Mine didn't rise at first, so I turned on the oven, but it was a bit hot I think. They were seriously excellent!!!!! A keeper for sure! Easy and delicious. Thanks Tania!

Chocolate Sauce

Reviewed: May 1, 2011
absolutely excellent! I used the sauce for sundae topping and for chocolate milk. Both uses were excellent. I was amazed at the rich chocolate taste from cocoa!

Apricot Sausages

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
Turned out awesome! Only change I made was using marmalade instead of Apricot Preserves. I didn't have any preserves on hand. I'll try it again using Apricot preserves, but it woas wonderful with the maramalade. Thank-you so much for the recipe! I've always had problems cooking sausages but this recipe was easy and delicious! Oh, and my kids raved about it as well. :-)

Melt - In - Your - Mouth Shortbread

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
Excellent shortbread! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 as I found the dough benefitted from much more mixing time than sugggested in the recipe as written. I beat the dough at medium speed in my mixer for about 15 mins until it was the consistency of butter cream icing. I put the dough in a piping bag and piped rounds of dough with a start tip. I added almomds slices and a 1/4 of a marichino cherry to the top of each before baking. They were easy to make and delicious! Thanks for the recipe!

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
Amazing! I added the extra salt as reccomended in previous reviews. I didn't have any butter milk so used the substitution as follows: 1tbsp lemon juice 1 cup of milk. I used powdered milk and added the lemon juice to it. I poured off the extra 1/4 cup and added 3/4 cup to the bread maker. It was easily the yummiest bread I've made! My young children and my neighbours loved it too! Only challenge I faced was could I turn out a second loaf fast enough! Thanks for the recipe!

Banana Bread - Quick Bread for Machines

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2008
Awesome!! I used the dough setting on my Sunbeam 5833 machine. I did scrape down the sides, and even stired in a bit myself here and there. My "Bake" setting bakes for 1hr. I had to reset the bake cycle and bake for an addition 20 mins. Very moist. I used 3 ripe bananas ans added 1/2 an individual unsweetened apple sauce cup. I'll be making this again!!! Thanks for the recipe.

These were easy to make and the kids loved them! We don't like tomato sauce, so I skipped that.
