Cream Corn Like No Other

I used half and half/ non-whole milk and just used cornstarch to get the same thickness. very yummy!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Used white chocolate and used hershey chocolate for brown stripes. Everyone LOVED it. It's super easy to make but be sure to work fast, because the chocolate thickens super quickly after it melts.

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

I actually combined a little bit of the two most popular artichoke spinach dip recipes on this site. But most of it came from this one, all I substituted was alfredo sauce for mayo, and i cut out the romano cheese simply because I didn't have it. I also I put a lot more spinach, probably 3 times as much. It tasted great!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

I made it exactly as written, and also added some breadcrumbs to the mixture. I didn't broil, just baked. My family loved it, though I didn't, but I think it's just because I'm not a fan of parmesan.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

I don't even like chocolate cake and I liked this. Very rich, so next time I would try substituting more healthy ingredients into it but otherwise I followed the recipe exactly and it's great!!!

Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

Perfect recipe! Made it for the whole family and they loved it. The only adjustments I would make is cutting the bread/pecan recipe by half ATLEAST. Probably a 1/3 of the amount would be fine. I had lots of leftover mix. Also I used honey mustard instead of dijon mustard because that's what I had on hand. As for baking, 10 mintures per inch of salmon is a good starter. I baked it for about 15 minutes and it was fine. I also made my own sauce to go with the dish that gave the sweet salmon a tinge of sourness. A simple mixture of heavy whipping cream, salt, lemon juice, fresh parsley, and a little bit of butter. This will definitely be my go to salmon recipe from now on!

Roast Potatoes

These were really good. I kept them in the oven for nearly 50 minutes. I wouldn't double the oil, rather add 1/2 tbsp for every tbsp. also I added other spices on top of the ones listed (garlic powder, Parmesan, basil, etc).

Best Spanish Rice

Super easy and pretty good! I do half salsa, and half sweet corn relish mix that I find at the grocery store. Makes it slightly sweet, not half bad. I've made it twice already!

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Just like the other reviews, this recipe is super simple and really delicious. Make sure to hand mix the soft butter into the mixture, mine came out moist but not too crumbly! Definitely will make it again.

Honey Walnut Shrimp

Everything was good but the sauce. it didn't taste anything like you would expect for honey walnut shrimp and tastes more like cake batter. would use a different sauce but i like this method of frying shrimp.

Perhaps the fish I bought wasn't good (From costco), but this fish was very tough and the taste barely made it through the skin. Wouldn't make again. The sauce itself was "ok".

I actually listened to some reviewers and omitted the salt, but you actually need it. Baked in covered foil packages. Still messy because all the sauce leaked out but its ok. But tasty! I added red pepper flakes and a bit of lemon juice to the mixture.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

I'm giving 3 stars right now, but will change my recipe next time. I did what others did and throw the whole mixture/chicken in a slow cooker. The sauce seemed to be too much, and not thick enough either. Also the chicken just didn't have the strongest teriyaki taste. I will try baking it next time and update my review.
