Kielbasa with Peppers and Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
I didn't think it would be that good when I first read it, but it really was! I did make a few changes, which you really should try. First, I cubed up some potatos and heat those up first in just a little EVOO, then I added chunks of green and red pepper and sliced onion and the sliced up kielbasa and partially covered. Then, I seasoned with garlic powder and pepper, a little salt and paprika. Then I sprinkled some worshtershire sauce over it and stir fryed a bit longer until the potatos were tender. OMG! The flavor was out of this world. Thank you for sharing!

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2006
This is an excellent recipe. My family likes peanut butter cookies to be a little softer/chewier so I increased the flour by 1/4 cup and also added 1/4 cup more peanut butter. Also, I baked them on 350 for about 9 minutes or so- but watch carefully not too over bake them! They were just soooo good!

Gourmet Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2005
This was a great recipe and pretty easy too. I cooked the chicken breast in a little oil and seasoned with a little garlic salt and some mesquite seasoning, which was really good. The ranch made such a good sauce. THe leftovers are really good cold as well. Thanks!

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2005
This is an AWESOME recipe. It definitely has some kick, but we loved it. The only changes I made was only 2 cans of beans and 1 can of corn, and then thickening it with cornstarch/water. It seemed too thin to be 'chili'. Then when we put it into our bowl and put extra cheese on top, a dollop of sour cream and crushed tortilla chips. I really can't say enough about how delicious it was. Will make again and again. Thanks!!

Parmesan Chicken I

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2005
It had a good flavor. But I cooked on low for @9hrs. and the rice and chicken was a dried up pile of mush. I think if I make again the rice will be on the side and cook on low maybe only 6 hrs and maybe add a small can of mushrooms and some chopped onion.

BBQ Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2005
I thought the recipe was OK but only if you use like less than half the cilantro, it was sooo overpowering. My husband didn't like it too much. May try again with lots less cilantro.

Spicy Rye Rounds

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2005
I've made this recipe a lot before. The best thing to do is to ADD A TABLESPOON OF OREGANO and mix it into the meat before adding the cheese. Trust me it makes it so much better.

Black Bean and Corn Salad II

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2004
This was absolutely the best recipe. Only I call it black bean and corn salsa, and eat it with tortilla chips. I just added the juice from 2 limes, and then some tabasco and cayenne pepper/chili powder for some kick. Oh, and try adding a little cumin too for some extra flair. Everyone just LOVED it. Thanks.

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2004
I thought this recipe had a really good base. I used @ 6 c of egg noodles, added 1 large can tuna, 2 cans of the chicken soup and added about 3/4 can milk to give it more consistency. Then mixed in some cheese, and season w/salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Try adding some canned mushrooms and frozen peas. Then top with cheese and French Fried onions. It was sooo awesome!

Different Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2004
I thought this was a good recipe. I will make it again except I won't use quite as much curry powder next time- as it was a little overwhelming. Also, I think it needs a little milk to be added to the soups to make it a little less thick, and give it a better consistency. Thanks!

All I can say is this recipe was fabulous, the cheese makes a big difference. I didn't think I liked stuffed peppers until I tried this recipe.

Hungarian Goulash II

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2004
A wonderful base recipe- I made it with a 2lb round steak instead and added green pepper and garlic. I slow cooked it for 8-9 hrs. Then later added (after the thickening) a little frozen corn and peas. Serve w/ noodles and crusty hot bread. It was awesome!!!
