Craig's Cocktail Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2011
I made this for our yearly progressive party and it was a hit. Everyone wanted the recipe. I'd probably add a little more heat my next batch. I did make it 2 days in advance to allow the flavors to meld. I'll be making this again!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
Okay so I test the suggested way (put choc. cups in freezer) and I did a batch the regular way. I choose the latter. Putting the cups in freezer, only made the chocolates stay soft once it was room temp. and gooey. The chocolate looses its firmness once it's frozen. The second batch was must better (no freezer) I was able to pile them on top of each other on a platter not worrying about the melted chocolate. Other than that, it was a hit. Easy to make.

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
Yummy! Very delicious. It took a little longer than expected. We used an electric therm. to get the right reading. Took it out at 135 degrees, covered with double duty foil, and waited until thermo. hit 145 degrees. We'll be using this again. Thanks!

California Italian Wedding Soup

Easy and flavorful. I used spinach instead of the other. A nice change from chicken noodle on a cold winter day.

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
I get so many compliments on this one. I used the ingredients but compiled them different. I dumped all the ingredients together. The difference: I cubed the cheese into tiny cubes and dumped that in as well. I let it marinade for a few hours before serving. Toasted some bagettes. Served both side by side and have my guests spoon their bruschetta on the bagettes. This prevents soggy bread and a fresher tasting appetizer. Yummy!

Unstuffing Side Dish

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
Good but I was expecting more bold flavors. This needed something else, can't put my finger on it. I like the hardiness of it and overall, everyone ate it.

Pillsbury Crescents Turkey Cranberry Pinwheels

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
not so easy. On my second attempt, I omitted the cheese and barely put any cranberrys. That made it much easier and less messy. I chilled the dough in the freezer just before using and that helped as well. Taste is not so good. I will not be making again.

Terrific Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
Love it! I added a can of each of corn, black beans and pinto beans. Because of all those extras, I had to add some water to get the right consistancy. I like that it's full of vegetables and bold flavors. This one's a keeper.

Delish! Omitted the topping because we don't like it too sweet. It was great all by itself. Will make again.

Cookie Mix in a Jar VI

Delicious! I gave these cookie jars as gifts and got calls back wanting the recipe. I made them myself without parchment. Turned out fine. I will be making these more often. Yummy.

Excellent. I added a bag of chopped spinach, ground turkey, chopped zucchini and omitted the proscuitto. I served it with some garlic toast. My family loves it.

Banana Slush Punch

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2005
Very delicious. I made this for a block party but served it a little different. I kept the slush frozen in a container and in a small ice chest with an ice cream scooper. With a note of directions: "Scoop slush into cup, pour in ginerale." Like a rootbeer float. It kept the flies out of the punch bowl while maintaining a refreshing, cool drink.
