This seemed almost like BBQ shredded beef. Good flavor.

Hamburger Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2005
This is a very versatile soup. I followed others' suggestions and added 2 cans of kidney beans, 2 garlic cloves-minced, green beans, peas, and 1c. of pasta. Just put in whatever you have and it will turn out great!

Meatball Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2005
Very unique flavor. I would suggest eating these cookies as soon as possible becasue they don't freeze well and the flavor diminishes with time. Instead of making a glaze, I simply brushed them with melted chocolate chips and that turned out well.

Gold Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2005
This cake had a beautiful gold color as the name suggests. This is PERFECT for those the extra egg yolks. I will make this cake hand-in-hand with angel food-about 16 egg whites are too much to use for anything else. I frosted this with a fudgy frosting/glaze.

Pear Bread II

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2005
I used this recipe for Christmas brunch. Great flavor. As suggested by other reviews, I made some changes to the recipe which I suggest: I substituted applesauce for the 1 cup of oil(this made the bread very moist), increase the pears to 3 cups, substitute coconut for the pecans though I am sure pecans would be great also, and added 1/2 tsp. ginger.

Very good cookies though the recipe did not many. Almost like Russian Tea Cookies.

Cherry-Berry Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2004
I made this recipe with frozen home-grown strawberries and cherries; it was great! Wait until it is cooled to eat or else it will be runny.
