I did half whole wheat and half all purpose flour. Took advice and used extra egg plus a teaspoon of vanilla. Also used pumpkin pie spice as I wanted to use my my jar. Super tasty-almost like eating pumpkin bread.

Beer Cheese Soup II

I just didn't like the taste of this soup. It turned out pretty bland-I could taste more Worcestershire than anything-the beer flavor was lost. I'd recommend trying a stronger beer (I used MGD light)

Thanksgiving Drumstick Treats™

These were a big hit on Thanksgiving-everyone got such a kick out of them. They weren't the easiest to shape, but I was able to make them passable. Like another reviewer, I would try to do these by making the end totally out of cocoa krispies. You'd lose the good peanut butter taste, but could also add peanut butter to the marshmallow mix. I like my rice krispie squares better that way, anyway. Overall, a huge hit.

Candi's Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

Exceptional! The cookies are so soft and chewy. I think that 2 cups of flour would do, as the dough was almost crumbly with 2.5 cups. Still delicious!

Delicious Bread

Very delicious. I have made before as the recipe states and it makes a great alternative to standard garlic bread. However, tonight I was hungry for something with pepperoni in it. So, I made the bread, but substituted pizza seasoning for the parsley, and added about 1/2 c chopped turkey pepperoni and 1 cup shredded italian blend cheese. I sprinkled the pepperoni and cheese inbetween layers of the bread and it worked nicely and was a big hit.

Peanut Butter Playdough

I've made this a few times now. It works well no matter how you make it, but I like some of the changes recommended by other users. I like sifting the powdered milk and use about half honey and half corn syrup.

Chicken In Basil Cream

This was a very big hit at my house and will definitely be made many more times. This first time, I followed directions exactly. I think next time I may try some variations. I would like to try with no pimentos for a more enhanced basil flavor, and I would like to cook the sauce with the basil in it a little bit longer as I didn't get quite as much basil flavor out of the dish as I would have preferred. The breaded chicken alone was so delicious in this dish. All around a new family favorite.

Cake Balls

These tasted so good and were a lot easier to make then I had imagined. The freezing step really did the trick, I think. I did yellow cake with chocolate frosting and then dipped some in milk chocolate and some in dark chocolate. I used the Baker's Dippers bowls of chocolate you can buy at the grocery store (baking aisle), and needed 2 bowls to cover the whole batch. I topped the finished balls with sprinkles to add a little pizzaz. They were a big hit at my goddaughter's 17th birthday party.

Slow Cook Thai Chicken

This recipe is quite good. I'm thinking of trying a few things differently next time: more lime juice, more soy sauce, half of the cumin and some chicken thighs along with the breasts.

Fluffy Cheesecake Dessert

This dessert was very good. I was disappointed that it didn't have as much orange flavor as I would have liked. I think next time I would add some orange zest. Otherwise, very good-light and fluffy, would be great as a summer dessert.

No Bake Cookies I

Recipe is tasty! One thing was to be sure that the peanutbutter is melted in nicely before adding the oatmeal, otherwise it's hard to blend the pb in well. If your cookies are too soft, put them in the fridge and eat them cold-still delicious.

Grilled Orange Flank Steak

Very tasty. I didn't have any marmalade, so I substituted with frozen oj concentrate-seemed to work fine. I served with mixed grilled veggies (zucchini, onion, mushroom). Next time I might try to spice it up with a little red pepper flake, but it is great as is.
