Grilled Salmon I

Amazing! I love fish, but have only ever ruined it when I try cooking it myself, and I've never attempted to grill it. This recipe turned out perfectly for me on the first attempt! I didn't have lemon pepper, so just squeezed a lemon and used black pepper. I love the tinfoil tip I read from a few others: put the skin side down on a piece of tinfoil, carefully flipped the fish off onto the grill, and the skin stuck to the tinfoil. Voila! It was like magic; I hate picking fish away from the skin while it's on my plate. Highly recommend this recipe, even suitable for amateur fish grillers. :)

Comforting Chicken

I adjusted the temp to 350 based on comments and will probably still drop the cook time a bit the next time I make it. My chicken was a little dry, but perhaps I sauteed it too long, or cut it too small. Still a keeper though, and I will make it again. Great flavor, perfect for a cold winter night!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I've made this several times; for a larger group and also for just me and my SO. When I make a smaller roast, I just toss in veggies and it's a whole meal! Everyone who's had this recipe has loved it, and been surprised at how easy it was to make.

Ken's Spicy Curry Chicken

I'm pretty sure I used a curry paste that ruined the recipe. For whatever reason, all I could taste was coconut milk and the ingredients - no curry in the sauce, even though I used the correct amount. I'd also cut the coconut milk in half, and added red pepper flakes, but that didn't help. Will not make it again, as I'm not sure what I could do to correct it. It's a mystery!

Hot Spiced Cider

VERY popular recipe for us! Like others, I opted for a slow cooker instead of the coffe maker. Just tossed everything in, set it on low, and let it warm for a few hours. I cut the brown sugar in half, as I thought it would have enough flavor without more sugar. It was perfect.
