OMG!!!! This is sooo good!! I forgot the onion, though, still tastes great! The recipe doesn't say to, but I did peel the sweet potatoes. Also used fresh garlic. I will use this recipe again and again - thank you so much for sharing! very tasty!!

Lentil and Sausage Soup

Terrific soup! I diced the carrot, used hot sausage and less tomato. So tasty!! I think spinach or some other green veg would be good and add color. Next time I will try this with rice and less broth for a casserole dish. Will make again!!

Terrific! I usually add something, though. It's perfect as is, though. I like to add corn or dried parsley. And you can adjust the sweetness.

Fluffy Pancakes

Very tasty! Make sure to mix the dry ingreds with a fork very well before adding the wet. I got a bite of baking powder and it was not good! Shifting would be good also. These are very good!

All Day Apple Butter

Very good. Chopped the apples into small dice and used a potatoe masher on them as they cooked. We like it a bit chunky. Also, cut down the sugar, used 1.5 cups. Added 2 T. of butter and 1 t. of vanilla extract at the end of cooking. Taste was very good. Thanks.

Apple Cake IV

Very good. Subbed yoghurt for the 1 c. of oil as i didn't have any. Surprised that it turned out as well as it did! Still moist. I also added 2 t. of gr. ginger and half a t. of allspice. Will make again. Thanks

Garden Fresh Tomato Soup

Very good. Made adjustments. Prepared the roux in a seperate pot and added 3/4 cup of milk to it. Then slowly added some of the tomato mixture to the roux, then combined everything into one pot and cooked. It was very creamy. Also, did not use strainer, too fussy for me. I thought it was very good with all the tomato bits in the soup. Have tried the soup in its original recipe and that was very good as well. Thanks

Very good. Ate them on pita with garlic mayo, tomatoes, and mozz cheese. Would recommend micro-ing only 1-2 minutes to keep slices firm. Thanks

Filipino Ribs

De-lish! Were'nt sure what liquid to "bring to a boil", so we used a couple cups of beef broth. The sauce was fantastic. Would be great with rice. No problem finding the ingredients at our local chinese grocery. Will make again.

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

I first had this dessert back in high school, some 16 years ago! I made this recipe and it tasted exactly as I remembered it. My friends and husband loved the sweet-salty and creamy textures. Very good!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Really good recipe. I added a packet of onion soup mix to the meat, a bit less milk, 1/4 c. br. sugar, 1/4 c. ketchup and placed four strips of bacon on top. Was the right amount of sweet. Husband loved it. Thank you

My Best Clam Chowder

My husband and I loved this recipe. So quick and easy. Only changes: 1% milk for half and half,I added a can of corn, and I added 4 strips of crisp bacon, chopped. Really, really good. Thank you.

I loved this recipe! So easy. I added an extra cup of oats, I don't like things too sweet, and also a tropical mix of fruits and nuts along with the cranberries. Truely fab. Thanks!

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

This was de-lish! I substituted grated carrot for the pepper and added half a packet of dry onion soup/dip mix for the fresh onion. I did add a bit more bread crumbs and had no problem keeping the patties together. Very good!

Barley Bake

Loved it!! However, I didn't have pine nuts or mushrooms. Used instead, diced carrot and frozen spinach. Also substituted chix broth for the veggie broth. I never had barley before so this was a terrific introduction. Thank you.
