Simple Texas Salsa

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
Great base recipe! I added about a tablespoon of lime juice and 2 teaspoons of Omega3 oil. I used jalepenos instead of chilis and red onions instead of chives. Good stuff!

Baked Sweet Potato Sticks

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2007
This is a great recipe. The first time I made them like the recipe called, except I used cajun seasoning and they were delicious! The next time that I made them, I only used a TBSP of butter and 2 TBSP of "sugar in the raw" and they were so yummy! Goes great with a chef salad!

Three Cheese Macaroni with Tomatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2007
We really liked this recipe with a few changes. I used less macaroni and rotel tomatoes instead of stewed. Also added a little butter, garlic salt and seasoned salt. I used shredded mexican blend cheese too.

Sweet and Crunchy Salad

Reviewed: May 29, 2006
I made a few adjustments. I cut the oil in half and I only soaked the noodles for 5 minutes so they would be a little less soft than cooked Raman noodles. I used apple cider vinegar because that is what I had on hand and I used olive oil to make it more health-friendly. It was delicious! My kids loved it too!

This is a great recipe. It has a great flavor and you can make your meat as spicy or as mild as you like. Two thumbs up on this one!

Parmesan Corn on the Cob

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2005
This is a GREAT quick and easy recipe for fresh corn on the cob. My family LOVES this corn! The only thing I would change is cutting down on the parmesan just a little bit. Other than that, loved it!!!

Avocado Salsa

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2004
This is a great salsa! I omitted the black olives and used 2 cans of drained, rinsed black beans instead. I also used a jar of chopped, roasted sweet red peppers instead of fresh. This salsa was a HIT with my guests!
