Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2007
TRY THESE FUDGE FILLED COOKIES!!!! You gotta try this recipe: Make the Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies (find on this website) as directed but don't bake it just yet! Make Aunt Teen's fudge as directed but don't let it harden all the way in the fridge. Now you are ready to assemble...Put a little bit of the cookie dough on the sheet and then put a little spoonful of the fudge on top of that and cover it with some more of the cookie dough. Make sure you close up the sides so you can't even tell that there is fudge in the middle. Bake as directed. These cookies are AWESOME. They have a fudgey suprise in the center that no one is expecting!!!! I made this one up myself :) you gotta try it!!!

Chocolate Mousse Cake II

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2007
The mousse part is delicious, but the cake part is rather bland. I would recommend making the base out of a brownie or cake mix (you will probably only need to use half of the box), and making the mousse as directed. Also, I didn't like the idea of using raw eggs in the mousse so I melted the butter with the egg yolks over the stove until it came to its safe temp (160 degrees), and then continued to make it as directed. I also used pasteurized egg whites. This worked out well, just make sure you don't scramble the eggs!

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2007
Really Yummy! I halved the recipe and only used 3 half breasts and it was still ALOT of chicken. Oh my! I will use even less next time. The sour cream makes the soup creamy and delicious.

Mango Cardamom Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2006
Really good! Istead of white bread, I used cinnammon raison bread which made it really yummy. I dont know what the heck cardamom is so I used cinnammon. You can never have enough cinnammon. I baked it a little longer because it was very juicy. Grandma loved it cause she can't eat anything hard cause it will hurt her teeth.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2006
Really good! I used cooking string to tie it up, I can't see how toothpicks will hold it. It's a pain to cut the string after though. I used procuitto, ham, and monterary jack cheese.

Classic Tiramisu

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2006
I used hard italian lady fingers which may have contributed to my tiramisu not having any structure. Since the lady fingers are hard, I though I would need to really soak the ladyfingers in the kuhlua so they wouldnt be crunchy. Well, I ended up using more than a half a bottle of kuhlua. Do not over do it because I made it wayyyy too strong. When I took off the spring pan, the cake completely collapsed. It was a mess. We had to eat it like pudding but it was still very delicious! Next time I will definitly drizzle the kuhlua over the lady fingers instead of soaking them and I will use the soft ladyfingers.

Cheesecake Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2005
It was delicious.....I always thought brownies were too boring so this is a good way to spice them up. I should have mixed the cream cheese mix into the brownie mix a little more because the cream cheese mix just layed right on top. But it did make a beautiful marble design. I would definitly recommend it, it was so easy and yummmmmmy!

Hershey®'s Special Dark® Chocolate Layered Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2004
This was the first time I baked a cheesecake. Actually, it was the first time I baked anything other than brownies. My boyfriend and I both made one to bring to our families for thanksgiving. They both came out awesome! Everyone was completely amazed and it was the best cheesecake that they EVER had. They couldn't believe a college student made it. The only thing I would change is that you need more butter for the crust to stick together. I recommend it for anyone! :)
