Busy Mom Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2010
This had great flavor--however, the texture of the dough was like rubber. i was embarrassed to take it to the office so i made banana pudding instead. I ate one serving of this cobbler and this is NOT the cobbler recipe for me.

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
I changed this recipe based on what I had on hand @ the house: I used 1 tbsp of french onion soup mix (in 1 lb of ground chuck), 1/2 can of cream of mushroom, + the bread crumbs. Browned for 5 mins on each side. Mixed a mushroom gravy packet + 1 1/2 cans cream mushroom soup + milk and poured it over the browned meat and then baked. Yeah, i know i changed it a lot--but it's a great 'base' recipe that you can change up. AWESOME!

Green Beans with Herb Dressing

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
Very tangy sauce--exactly what I wanted! I bought one of the 'steamer bags w/whole green beans' from the freezer section of the grocery store. I steamed the green beans in the morning and then poured the dressing over them and let the sit in the fridge for about 6-7 hours. I LOVE IT! Tangy and crisp...I've had similar tasting green beans @ a nice restaurant...but I do believe these were better! Ooooh and I didn't use as much olive oil as called for.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2008
I'm not an expert baker by any means and I received praises from my co-workers when I brought these cookies to the office. They're begging me to bring more :) Be sure to use butter; I did use margarine one day and the dough was way too sticky! I love this recipe!

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2008
Great recipe. I shredded up a whole roasted chicken (both white and dark meat) & used 8oz of sour cream. Wound of using 2 cups of cheese =) I seasoned the chicken with some fajita seasoning i bought at World Market--but I think taco seasoning would taste good too. Thanks for the recipe!
