Mom's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2005
These cookies are great. I used sugar free vanilla pudding mix and they still turned out great. Next time I will make them with regular pudding mix to see if I can tell a difference. But the sugar free version I made were soft and chewy and very delicious

Candy Bar Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2005
This recipe was OK. I kept reading comments to not overbake so I think I went to the extreme and didn't bake it enough. It easily fell apart and was a bit messy but tasted pretty good. I also used Devils food cake and I think that may have made it a bit too chocolatey. Would be delicious though if warmed in the micro served with vanilla ice cream.

Reduced Fat Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2005
I couldn't believe how good this soup was with just these simple ingredients. It seemed though as if something was missing with the flavor. It needs a little zip to it. I am not a hugh cook so this recipe looked easy enough. I added some crumbled bacon and some frozen veggies and it was very delicious. I will definetly make again. Thanks for sharing!

Warm Crab Parmesan Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2005
Actually I made a lot of changes to this original recipe so it is a bit different from this. I used 16 oz of imitation crabmeat, only 1/2 cup of mayonaise as many of the reviews recommended that. Everything else was according to recipe. It seemed a bit bland after mixing everything so I added a little bit of worchestershire, lemon juice from a fresh lemon and red pepper. This definetly gave it more flavor. Took this to a party and everyone LOVED it! It still tasted good when it was cold. I would definetly make this again. I served it with water crackers and tortilla chips.

Jazzy Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2005
What I liked about this is that this is not your typical green bean casserole. This was great and easy to make. I was a little hesitate when I saw corn as the ingredients but this turned out delicious. The corn and cheese are an added zip. One thing I did different was add some of the fried onion into the mix to give it a little crunch and there was still plenty left for the topping. Rave reviews - will definetly make this again

Hot Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2004
This recipe was simple and delicious. I made it for my family at Christmas and everyone, even my husband who is a picky eater loved it. I did chop the artichoke hearts up so it would be easier to eat and I also cut the bacon into quarters with scissors before frying to make it easier to crumble. I would definetly recommend this and will make it again for parties.

Holiday Peppermint Bark

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2004
Delicous and easy to make. I melted my chips in a double boiler that way I could stir the chips the entire time. Might try a more expensive brand of white chocolate next time.Might give it more of an expensive candy store taste. I also melted a handful of milk chocolate chips and swirled it into the mix. Looks pretty. Also you can put this in the fridge for about 10 minutes and it is ready to eat more quickly. Great holiday recipe and easy easy!!!

Sweet Potato Casserole VI

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2004
This recipe was delicious and very easy to make. I did use about 1/2 of the amount of sugar it called for. I did add a little bit of cinnamon and nutmeg when I made the topping. Added a great flavor. Will add this to my recipe box for sure. My husband enjoy it and he is not a "casserole" person! Thanks!
