Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2010
Delicious! I doubled the filling because I had HUGE bell peppers and it worked out great. I topped with a little more cheese and it was so yummy. I followed the recipe except for using diced tomatoes.

Tender Italian Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
This is our go-to chicken recipe. I don't dip the chicken, I just spread the mayo mixo on top and sprinkle with the bread crumbs. So juicy and delicious!

Much creamier than the standard side of the box recipe. Went very fast!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2003
For Snickerdoodles, they are pretty good. I used a cinnamon sugar mix I bought already mixed and I liked it because the sugar was really fine. Mine got a little done on the bottoms but it was probably my cookie sheet. They have a nice texture though and I have received a lot of compliments.

Sugar Cookies IV

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2003
this is the same recipe I use but I would never call them crispy. I take them out of the oven before the edges start to brown and they are soft and chewy. I roll them out pretty thick too because I only get 2 dozen out of this recipe. These are the best sugar cookies I have ever had!

Honey Bun Cake I

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2003
This cake was very moist and easy to make. The glaze tasted great. It was a little too sweet but appealed to everyone. I will definitely be making this again.

Easy Dump Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2003
I agree that this does need some kind of glaze but it is pretty good on its own. The chocolate chips are great inside. I would back off 5 minutes on the cooking time next time because the outside was a little over done. It was very moist inside though and very easy.

Cran-Raspberry Gelatin Mold

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2003
We didn't realize when we tried to make this that we wouldn't be able to find cranberries! Even frozen. We actually made it work by straining the gelatin off whole cranberry sauce. It was so good though even with the adjustment. We did put a dab of raspberry yogurt on top and it looked so nice for our baby shower. We did a plated lunch with a chicken salad croissant, pasta salad and this and everyone loved it.

Fresh Pesto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2003
This was okay but not as good as I had hoped. We tripled it for a baby shower and everyone raved about everything but this.

Chicken and Dumplings III

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2003
This took me back to my childhood! It came out perfectly and was easy and cheap. Good rainy day dinner and my husband loved it. I added a boullion cube to the water so I could cut down on the salt but lots of pepper.

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2003
I thought this was a little salty but my husband was practically licking the plate. It was very easy but I would make more gravy next time for our mashed potatoes. I think I will have to make it again because my husband will be asking for it.

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2003
I altered this a little bit by leaving out the jalepenos and substituting the monterey jack for mozzarella. I was so worried that this wasn't going to be good but it really was. I think you could do a lot with it by adding some other vegetables. I think it would be a lot like a tortilla soup I used to get in Texas by adding some avocado pieces and squash. My husband loved the white (Northern) beans. It was really easy and will make it again.

Hello Dollies I

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2003
I didn't have a problem getting them out of the pan. I overbaked them a little bit but they were still really good. I used chocolate graham crumbs because that is what I had but either seems good.

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2003
The best I have ever made! I used really fresh potato bread and it was so good. My husband loved it too. I was afraid it wouldn't be enough so I added an extra egg but you could still taste the vanilla and sugar. I also substituted pumpkin pie spice for the cinnamon and that was great.

Banana Nut Bread II

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2003
I made the mistake of reading the reviews that said that it didn't get completely done. I put it on the darker setting and the outside got WAY too done. Once you cut off the crust, it tastes great though. I will make it again this week on normal. I think it could use a little more banana.

Stuffed Shells I

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2003
I made an extremely similar dish from Taste of Home and it was very good. I used fresh parsely and low fat cottage cheese and I can't wait to make it again. I think I overcooked the shells. They go from hard to floppy pretty quickly. This is a great potluck dish. I used the new tomato sauce with the meat already in it so it was very easy to even make it a meaty dish. It is a lot easier than it seems.

Better Than Sex Cake II

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2003
I don't think I agree with the title but it is very good and very easy. I used caramel syrup instead of the thicker topping and it still worked great. The toffee pieces were so good. Rave reviews from my in-laws!

Texas Caviar I

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2003
This makes a LOT of dip! Make sure it is a big party! It was really good though. We had to take it to our New Year's Eve party in the trunk though because the smell will knock you over. I think a little bit of lime juice would add something. I didn't use the coriander either and I don't think we missed it.

No Bake Cookies I

I entered these in a cookie contest at work and they won 2nd place out of 15. They were really fudgey and couldn't be easier.
